Late last night I decided to have me a "quick" game of poker on PKR . $1 buy in 6 seater sitngo. Had I known it was going to go on for over an hour, I surely wouldn't have registered for it.
This game has got to be one of the best games I've had in a long time. The play was hot, 2 fish knocked out pretty quickly and then the battle was on. Four good to excellent players were left and poker "respect" was present.
The chips were fairly evenly spread between the four of us and all the poker tricks were there too....slow playing good hands, check-raising...you name it, it was there. One guy had trips twice and didn't bet hoping other players would bet but the play was so tight, there was no bluffing at all and he just won the BB and SB.
At one point I had KK and raised 5xBB and one guy called. He went all in after the flop which was J 5 10 and I called. He showed 10 10 and whooped my butt with his trips. I still had about 1700 chips left after calling him.
The play went on for some time and the chips were going back and forth between the players. The guy that doubled up on my KK kept losing his chips and he was down to about 1900. He was SB and I was BB. The two other players folded and he flat called the BB. I had AK hearts but chose not to raise. Flop comes down 10 J Q rainbow. I thought to myself this is it. He bet about 600 and I flat called. He then went all in after the turn which was a 6 and I called which put me all in. He showed 66 and the river was no help to him at all and I doubled up. He was left with about 150 chips I think.
He managed to double up once and then he got knocked out against AK. So there were 3 of us left. The play tightened up even more. Nobody was calling with rubbish. At one point I had AA and everyone had folded. What a waste!
Eventually, there were just 2 of us women left - I knocked the last guy out but I can't remember the hand....it was a long game.
So heads up with this pretty good playing woman who had thrown all rubbish the whole game. At first we were just checking and betting if we hit and I decided to up the stakes a little and changed my play to aggressive.
At one point I had Js Qs and blinds are $150/$300 and I'm BB. Opponent raises to $600 and I just flat called. Flop comes down 4s 2s 9d. She goes all in and I flat called. This left me about $1500. Her cards popped up and she had Kd Ks. I was praying the spade would fall and the turn was As. I'm thinking yeah - here we go. River 6s. So she wins with Ace flush with the Ks. What a disappointment that was. The game would have ended with me the winner if it were not for that damn spade on the river.
Anyway, I decided to be even more aggressive and anything above Jack in my hand and I was all in. I managed to get back up to about $1900 stealing the blinds for a couple of hands.
Next comes 10 J for me. She flat calls. Flop comes down Qd Kd Ah. I just went all in and opponent calls. She shows 3h Ad. Fortunately for me Qh was turn and 2d was river and I doubled up.
Game goes on and on and chips are back and forth for some time and then I'm back on top again with $6k in chips. I'm BB at $800 and opponent is SB at $400. She goes all in for $2700 and I just called.
Cards are down and I show my 10 10 opponent has A 7. Flop comes down A 6 A. Turn 10, River K. So she has trip aces and I have the full house and it was game over.
OMG - this game lasted 1hr 22 minutes and I was worn out but thrilled that I had won. I have never been so determined to win a game as this one purely because of the quality of play.

Il gioco è andato avanti per un po' e le fiches andavano avanti e indietro tra i giocatori. Il ragazzo che ha raddoppiato sul mio KK ha continuato a perdere le sue chips ed era sceso a circa 1900. Lui era SB e io BB. Gli altri due giocatori hanno foldato e lui ha chiamato il BB. Avevo AK cuori ma ho scelto di non rilanciare. Il flop scende 10 JQ arcobaleno. Ho pensato tra me e me, è proprio questo. Ha puntato circa 600 e io ho chiamato. Poi è andato all in dopo il turn che era un 6 e io ho chiamato mettendomi all in. Ha mostrato 66 e il river non gli è stato di alcun aiuto e ho raddoppiato. Penso che gli siano rimaste circa 150 chips.
È riuscito a raddoppiare una volta e poi è stato eliminato contro AK. Quindi eravamo rimasti in 3. Il gioco si è inasprito ancora di più. Nessuno chiamava con spazzatura. Ad un certo punto avevo AA e tutti avevano foldato. Che spreco!
Alla fine, eravamo rimaste solo in due: ho eliminato l'ultimo ma non riesco a ricordare la mano... è stata una partita lunga.
Quindi avverti questa bravissima giocatrice che ha gettato tutta la spazzatura per tutta la partita. All'inizio stavamo solo checkando e puntando se avessimo centrato e ho deciso di alzare un po' la posta in gioco e ho cambiato il mio gioco in aggressivo.
Ad un certo punto avevo Js Qs e i bui sono $150/$300 e io sono BB. L'avversario rilancia a $600 ed io ho semplicemente chiamato. Il flop è 4s 2s 9d. Lei va all in e io ho chiamato. Questo mi ha lasciato circa $ 1500. Le sue carte sono apparse e aveva Kd Ks. Stavo pregando che cadesse la carta di picche e il turn fosse As. Sto pensando: sì, eccoci qua. Fiume 6s. Not last night but the night before, I decided to have a game on Full Tilt and decided it was time to up the stakes a little. I picked a $3.50 + 30c 9 seater sitngo. I registered and the game started almost straight away.
When I looked at my chips, I only had 300! :o I hadn't realised it was a limited chip tourney. I thought ok here we go, I'm not going to last long as I fold so many hands.
The play was fairly tight but needless to say on the first hand someone was knocked out as is usually the case.
I'm just posting and folding and my little stack is getting smaller and smaller and I'm thinking I'm going to run out of chips before I get a hand. Finally I get a hand, AA so I just threw all my chips in the pot and stole all the blinds. This brought me back to 300 chips.
The play goes on and I'm folding again and then hey presto, AA again. Threw all my chips in again and everyone folded. By this time there are 7 of us left. I then was dealt KK and threw all my chips in again and somebody called with KQ. I must say it was a relief to see that. Nothing came down to help my opponent and I virtually doubled up and they were knocked out.
I found that I was really tense during this game and I wonder if it was the low starting chips that made me feel that way. I was certainly on my "best poker behaviour" that's for sure.
I continued posting and folding my rubbish and a few others were knocked out and that left 4 of us. Only one more seat and I'm in the money.
I was dealt a pair for several hands running and was just flat calling. I did hit trips on the river of one hand, 9s it was and scooped a nice pot.
Another hand comes and I have 88 and I'm small blind. I just flat called and BB raised min so I call that too. Flop comes down 792. I checked and BB bet minimum so I called. Turn Q. I checked and BB checked. River was a 5 I think and I checked and BB bet so I raised and he folded. By this time I have 1045 in chips and I'm in the lead.
The game continues with one other player taking the chips off the other two left and one player was knocked out and I knew then (of course) that I was in the money. The other player then knocked out the third remaining player who was bluffing and that left just me and this other guy.
We played a few hands just checking, folding and pre flop raises to steal the blinds. Then I hit A6 suited and raised this guy. He decided to go all in and I called (I had the fewer chips of the two of us). He showed KQ.
Flop comes down KQ8 rainbow and as soon as I saw that I knew I was doomed. Suffice it to say nothing came that was of any use to me and I came second. My reward for coming second was $9.45 which was a nice return on my entry fee.
I really enjoyed this game although it was quite tense because of the small starting stack. I don't know if I will play another though.

Il gioco è stato piuttosto serrato ma inutile dire che alla prima mano qualcuno è stato eliminato, come di solito accade.
Sto semplicemente postando e foldando e il mio piccolo stack diventa sempre più piccolo e penso che finirò le chips prima di avere una mano. Alla fine ricevo una mano, AA, quindi ho messo tutte le mie chips nel piatto e ho rubato tutti i bui. Questo mi ha riportato a 300 chips.
Il gioco continua e io foldo di nuovo e poi ehi presto, di nuovo AA. Ho puntato di nuovo tutte le mie chips e tutti hanno foldato. A questo punto siamo rimasti in 7. Poi mi è stato servito KK e ho rilanciato tutte le mie chips e qualcuno ha chiamato con KQ. Devo dire che è stato un sollievo vederlo. Niente è riuscito ad aiutare il mio avversario e io ho virtualmente raddoppiato e loro sono stati eliminati.
Ho scoperto di essere molto teso durante questa partita e mi chiedo se non siano state le chips iniziali basse a farmi sentire così. Sicuramente avevo il mio "miglior comportamento nel poker".

Il gioco continua con un altro giocatore che prende le fiches dagli altri due rimasti e un giocatore è stato eliminato e allora ho capito (ovviamente) di essere in denaro. L'altro giocatore ha poi eliminato il terzo giocatore rimasto che stava bluffando e siamo rimasti solo io e quest'altro ragazzo.
Abbiamo giocato alcune mani limitandoci a check, fold e rilanci pre flop per rubare i bui. Poi ho preso A6 dello stesso seme e ho rilanciato a questo ragazzo. Ha deciso di andare all in e io ho chiamato (avevo meno chips di noi due). Ha mostrato KQ.
Il flop scende KQ8 Rainbow e non appena l'ho visto ho capito che ero spacciato. Basti dire che non è arrivato nulla che mi fosse utile e sono arrivato secondo. La mia ricompensa per essere arrivato secondo è stata di $ 9,45, un bel ritorno sulla mia quota di iscrizione.
Mi è piaciuto molto questo gioco, anche se era piuttosto teso a causa del piccolo stack iniziale. Non so se ne giocherò un altro però.

My last sentence on the above was "I don't know if I will play another though".
I just entered a $1.50 + 20c sitngo and I only got 300 chips again. I had no idea. I must check these things before I join.
First hand 3 players all in AQ / AQ / AJ. One player out.
I'm going to type this up as I play. Just folding at the moment. One player just went all in with 88 and another player called with Ace rag. The 88 held.
Next hand another player goes all in wth A10 and one person called. The opponent has KJ. Flop came down 5K5. Turn 7 and river 3. Down to 7 players now.
Next hand another player gets unlucky and is knocked out - he had 2 prs and the other guy hits trips on the river.
I'm dealt 66 and I just flat called. Flop has come down 567. I just checked as is everyone else. Turn is an 8. Checked again. River is a 10 - everyone checks so I bet and one player called. He has K2. lol.
Next hand I have 10 10 and just flat called. Everyone folds except BB who has about 80 in chips. Flop comes down 354 and I bet. He called and was all in. He showed 78 suited. Turn is a 2 and river is a 5 so I won and he is out.
This now leaves 5 players.
This one particular guy is going all in almost every hand. It's really annoying. Lots of posting and folding for me.
Then I got A5 suited and the guy who is raising every hand goes all in. I was SB. I decided to call. He had QK. Flop comes down 10 9 3, turn is a 9 and river is a 3. So I doubled up and he lost a lot of his stack.
Two players are all in - one shows KK and the other has AK. The KK held and one more is out. This leaves just 4 players.
I now have been dealt KK and I just raised and won the pot. I've now got 1200 in chips. The "all in" guy goes all in again and this time he gets a caller. He shows JA and his opponent shows KK. Flop is 10 2 6, turn is 7 and river is a 7 so its goodbye to him.
Three of us left. I'm back to getting rubbish again. Player with the least chips has gone all in and the one with the most chips has called. Least chips shows Q2 and opponent shows Q8. Flop is Q77, turn J and river 8. Thats him gone.
Two left including me. Opponent is stealing my blinds and I'm waiting for the hand.
I have 66 so I'm all in. Opponent calls with A7 suited spades. Flop comes down 2sJc4s. Turn is Jd and river is 5s. So Im out in 2nd place lost on the river to a flush. Well isn't that just typical.
Anyway return is $4.05 which is pretty good.
That was an "as it happens" write up and jeez that was hard.

I played a $2 sitngo on Full Tilt - just finished and I'm furious.
Why am I furious you may ask. I let this fish win a hand by betting low and letting him get to the river and he stole a large chunk of my stack. I had AQ suited hearts - flop comes down A2Q. I bet min bet - he flat called. Turn comes - think it was a 10. I checked he checked. River comes 5. I bet the pot he raised and I called. He had 34 and hit a straight.
I told him he was a "bit of a fish" but alas it didn't elicit a response. The game went on and if he was in the hand, I just went all in to stop him fishing to the river.
There were 4 of us left in the game and one is just posting and folding, one is trying to steal my blinds and then there was the fish. I played a couple of hands with the blind stealer. Each time I had hit with top pair - he bet 800, I just went all in and he folded. I managed to get a few pairs and just went all in each time and stole the blinds.
The game goes on - bit boring really, just posting and folding. I had QK suited hearts and I'm small blind and the fish is on my left so he is Big Blind. I just flat called and fish checks. The flop comes down K28 rainbow flop. I checked, fish bets 800, I went all in and fish folds. A very successful hand for three reasons (1) I had top pair (2) He wasted 800 chips and (3) I won.
A few hands go by and I get QK suited again. I called and fish raised so I called his raise. Flop comes down Ks2s10. I bet 2 x BB, fish calls. Turn comes nothing of any help to anyone. I just went all in and fish called. He shows 4s6s. River comes a spade and I'm out in 4th.
I'm furious because I should have just gone all in on the flop. From his past play, he would likely have folded and I would have won the hand and still been in the game. This may sound awful but I really really dislike the fish when they get lucky. I don't mind them when they don't get lucky and I see plenty of that in poker - example the serial "all inners" every hand. Its always just a matter of time before somebody hits AA or KK and knocks them out. But the lucky fish make me mad as hell.
So my lesson learned today is:
If you know they are a fish - don't give them an inch.
It's incredible that I've been playing poker since I was a kid and yet still I'm always re-learning the things that I already know but tend to forget too easily.

Ho giocato a un sitngo da $2 su Full Tilt , ho appena finito e sono furioso.

Gli ho detto che era "un po' un pesce", ma ahimè non ha suscitato risposta. Il gioco continuava e se lui era in mano, andavo all in per impedirgli di pescare al fiume.
Eravamo rimasti in 4 nel gioco e uno stava semplicemente postando e foldando, l'altro stava cercando di rubarmi i bui e poi c'era il fish. Ho giocato un paio di mani con il blind stealer. Ogni volta che ho centrato una coppia alta, lui ha puntato 800, sono andato all in e lui ha foldato. Sono riuscito a prendere qualche coppia e ogni volta sono andato all-in e ho rubato i bui.
Il gioco continua, un po' noioso a dire il vero, basta postare e passare. Avevo QK a cuori e sono piccolo buio e il fish è alla mia sinistra quindi lui è grande buio. Ho semplicemente chiamato e fish check. Il flop è un flop arcobaleno K28. Ho fatto check, ho pescato puntando 800, sono andato all in e ho passato. Una mano di grande successo per tre ragioni (1) avevo la coppia più alta (2) lui ha sprecato 800 chips e (3) ho vinto.
Passano alcune mani e ottengo di nuovo QK dello stesso seme. Ho chiamato e Fish ha rilanciato, quindi ho chiamato il suo rilancio. Il flop scende Ks2s10. Scommetto 2 x BB, fish call. Il turno non è di alcun aiuto a nessuno. Sono andato all in e Fish ha chiamato. Mostra 4s6s. Il river esce una carta di picche e io sono eliminato in quarta posizione.
Sono furioso perché avrei dovuto andare all in al flop. Dalla sua giocata passata, probabilmente avrebbe passato e io avrei vinto la mano e sarei stato ancora in gioco. Second hand dealt with AA. Raised to 300 and everyone folded. I'd rather win the BB/SB than let some fish get in with rubbish. Fourth hand dealt 10 10 and I'm BB. Was raised min raise so I called. Flop comes down Ah3h4h. Original raiser bets high so I folded.
One person out - all in with K5 loses to trip 10s.
Just got dealt QQ. I'm the dealer. BB is raised so I re-raised. Original raiser calls. Flop comes down 6hJh8s. I just went all in and other player called. He shows AsJs.
I thought here we go again - they will get their flush. Turn comes - 9s so they now have 4 spades. River comes 9h....phew. So that's another one out and I virtually doubled up.
Just posting and folding at the moment.
Had my BB raised again by the person UTG. Getting fed up with it so I re-raised and he folded.
Another player just bit the dust - he was all in with a straight draw and didn't hit. 3 of us left now. Both are bluffers which makes it quite difficult to pick the hands that aren't bluffs.
Still just posting and folding and checking down.
Just had QK - I'm BB and the guy UTG raised me....yet again and I called. Flop comes down Q8K. I bet 200, he re-raised to 600 so I re-raised him to 1000 and he folded. Phew - was dreading he had the K.
As I was writing the above, the guy to the left of me goes all in with AK and gets called by the other player with QQ. Flop is 936, turn 8, river 8 so he is out and I'm in the money.
Well what a fish. I had 9K and I'm BB. He just flat called and flop comes down K32. So I bet. He calls. Turn 3, river J. I bet again and he raises so I just called and he'd fished a flush all the way to the river.
The game is now over and I just couldn't write this as it was going so fast. So here is the rest of the game from the history.
I'm just posting and folding, stealing a few blinds here and there and he is doing the same. So I'm big blind and I have 10 10. He raises all in and I thought this was a great hand so I called.
He shows QK. Flop comes down 24Q. My only hope is a 10. Turn comes 8 and the river is a 3. I lose most of my stack and I'm left with 110 chips.
You would think that this was all over now but I'm a fighter when the chips are down and I managed (with a lot of all ins) to get back up to 3160 chips.
I'm BB and he raises all in. I have A 7 which is a good hand heads up so I called. He shows 9J. Flop is 10,9,4. Turn is 4 and the river is the J.
I came 2nd but I put up a good fight and walked away with $10.50 which is a nice return for my $5 entry fee.
It was a good game and if it wasn't for the bad luck with the 10s, I feel sure I could have won this game.

Una persona eliminata - all in con K5 perde con un tris di 10 secondi.
Mi è appena stato assegnato QQ. Sono il rivenditore. Il BB è stato rilanciato quindi ho controrilanciato. Chiamate originali del raiser. Il flop scende 6hJh8s. Sono appena andato all in e un altro giocatore ha chiamato. Mostra AsJs.
Ho pensato che ci risiamo: otterranno il loro colore. Il turno arriva: 9, quindi ora hanno 4 picche. Il fiume arriva alle 9...uff. Quindi questo è un altro out e ho virtualmente raddoppiato.
Sto solo postando e piegando al momento.
Il mio BB è stato rilanciato di nuovo dalla persona UTG. Essendo stufo di tutto ciò, ho controrilanciato e lui ha foldato.
Un altro giocatore ha semplicemente mangiato la polvere: era all-in con un progetto di scala e non ha centrato. 3 di noi se ne sono andati adesso. Entrambi bluffano, il che rende piuttosto difficile scegliere le mani che non sono bluff.

Mentre stavo scrivendo quanto sopra, il ragazzo alla mia sinistra va all in con AK e viene chiamato dall'altro giocatore con QQ. Il flop è 936, turn 8, river 8 quindi lui è fuori e io sono in denaro.
Beh, che pesce. Avevo 9K e sono BB. Lui ha semplicemente chiamato e il flop è sceso K32. Quindi scommetto. Lui chiama. Turn 3, river J. Punto ancora e lui rilancia così ho semplicemente chiamato e lui ha pescato un colore fino al river.
Il gioco è ormai finito e non potevo scriverlo perché stava andando così veloce. Quindi ecco il resto del gioco dalla storia.
Io sto semplicemente postando e foldando, rubando qualche blind qua e là e lui sta facendo lo stesso. Quindi sono al big blind e ho 10 10. Lui rilancia all in e ho pensato che fosse un'ottima mano così ho chiamato.
Mostra QK. Il flop scende 24Q. La mia unica speranza è un 10. Al turn arriva un 8 ed il river è un 3. Perdo gran parte del mio stack e mi restano 110 chips.
Penseresti che adesso tutto sia finito, ma sono un combattente quando le chips sono basse e sono riuscito (con molti all in) a risalire fino a 3160 chips.

Sono arrivato 2° ma ho lottato bene e me ne sono andato con $ 10,50 che è un bel ritorno per la mia quota di iscrizione di $ 5.
È stata una bella partita e se non fosse stato per la sfortuna con i 10, sono sicuro che avrei potuto vincere questa partita.

Hey Blue, just reading your furious post... it made me laugh. You really seem to hate those lucky fishes. I think you actually played the last hand that got you knocked out close to how you should have though.
It sucked that you got knocked out, but by putting him all in on the turn you forced him to make an awfully bad call with only 20% chance of hitting his flush. Where if you put him all in on the flop its not such a bad call for him, where if he calls he has a 42% chance of taking the pot down. It sucks when you lose, but your aim should always be to force your opponent into making bad calls, which is what you did.
Anyway, keep the posts coming i enjoy reading them. And try to lay off on the poor little fishies a bit.
Ehi Blue, solo leggere il tuo post furioso... mi ha fatto ridere. Sembra che tu odi davvero quei pesci fortunati. Penso che in realtà tu abbia giocato l'ultima mano che ti ha fatto eliminare quasi come avresti dovuto.
È stato uno schifo che tu fossi eliminato, ma mettendolo all-in al turn lo hai costretto a fare una chiamata terribilmente brutta con solo il 20% di possibilità di chiudere il suo colore. Dove se lo metti all-in al flop non è poi così male chiamare per lui, dove se chiama ha il 42% di possibilità di vincere il piatto. È uno schifo quando perdi, ma il tuo obiettivo dovrebbe sempre essere quello di costringere il tuo avversario a fare chiamate sbagliate, ed è quello che hai fatto tu.
Ad ogni modo, continua ad arrivare con i post, mi fa piacere leggerli. E prova a rilassarti un po' con quei poveri pesciolini.

Hi big_deanus - does it really show that much that I hate those fishy players? Heh heh. Yes I do and I try to keep calm and I really do try to show them up if I can. It amazes me that other players do not recognise a fish when they see one.
I played a matrix game - 4 games for the price of one for $2. I did get my money back but there was one player who really sucked big time. He was raising pre flop every hand without fail, he was betting huge if he was called and they were folding folding folding. I did manage to get a really good hand against this person and I just flat called, flat called and then when the river came, I went all in and he folded in the blink of an eye. This person did call one hand against me and he had absolutely nothing which I had already guessed and after me showing him up, he was soon knocked out.
I don't get how some players are so blind to their "strategy". Yeah - in inverted commas - I don't think being a fish qualifies as a strategy. What do you think?

Ciao big_deanus, dimostra davvero così tanto che odio quei giocatori sospetti? Eh eh. Sì, lo faccio e cerco di mantenere la calma e cerco davvero di presentarli se posso. Mi stupisce che gli altri giocatori non riconoscano un pesce quando ne vedono uno.
Ho giocato a un gioco a matrice: 4 giochi al prezzo di uno per $ 2. Ho recuperato i miei soldi, ma c'era un giocatore che ha davvero fatto schifo alla grande. Rilanciava pre-flop ad ogni mano senza fallire, puntava molto se veniva chiamato e loro passavano foldando foldando. Sono riuscito a ottenere una mano davvero buona contro questa persona e ho semplicemente chiamato, chiamato e poi quando è arrivato il river, sono andato all in e lui ha foldato in un batter d'occhio. Questa persona ha chiamato una mano contro di me e non aveva assolutamente nulla che io avessi già indovinato e dopo che l'ho mostrato, è stato presto eliminato.
Non capisco come alcuni giocatori siano così ciechi nei confronti della loro "strategia". Sì, tra virgolette, non penso che essere un pesce possa essere considerato una strategia. Cosa ne pensi?

$2 6 seater sitngo on Full Tilt tonight.
I was ready for the usual posting and folding of rubbish...which of course came. The play was pretty poor to be honest and I was just watching the play. 20 hands in and I still haven't played a hand
Two players are trying to steal all the blinds and the short stack raised all in (dealer) and got called. They show their hands pre flop - Qs4s and 10d8d (all in). The flop came down 3s5sAd. Turn is a 2s and river is a 7d so the all in guy was out. Down to 5 players.
28 hands in - I got Ac8c and thought I would just flat call. 2 other players in (BB and SB) - SB just flat called and BB checked. Flop comes down 2c6h7c. I bet 240 after SB and BB checked. SB called and BB folded. Now I've been watching this player who is SB and he was a bit of a bluffer judging from the hands he played. I'm on a flush draw. Turn comes down 6d. No good for me. SB checks so I just bet 720 and won the pot with nothing but Ace high.
A few hands later I'm dealt 10 10. I'm SB - first to act folds, 2nd to act folds and dealer raises to 350 (Blinds are 50/100). I just flat called and BB folds. Two of us in the hand and the flop comes down K37 - no good to me. So I bet 800 guessing that the other player either has Ace rag or a small pair. They just flat called me which said a lot. Next card is a 4 - so I just went all in and they called me. Fortunately, they showed 88. River comes down and its a 10 so I have trips and they are left with 185 chips.
A few hands on and the small stack is all in with 92 off - he loses to a pair of 10s. 92 off - what were they thinking.
Anyway there are now 4 of us left and its just posting and folding for me for quite a few hands which gave me an opportunity to watch the other players. I was dealt 9d10d on one hand and just flat called on a preflop raise (I'm BB). Flop comes down 347d. I checked - other player checks. Turn comes down another 4. I checked - opponent bets 480 and for reasons unknown to me I called. River comes and its a 7. If I was going to win this pot, I had to do something so I bet 360 and amazingly, the other guy folded. That was a nice pot for nothing in my hand.
This game seemed to be going on for ages and I posted and folded what must have been another 20 hands. I stole a few blinds with a couple of decent hands but that was about it.
One of the players (to my left) is now quite short stacked due to some very poor play. I'm SB and the short stack is BB. The other two players folded so I decided to push the short stack with my A2. The player called and revealed 5d8d. Flop comes down 106dQ, turn is Q and river is a 10 so that's one more down and I win the pot making me chip leader.
That left 3 of us and the very next hand another player is knocked out losing with his pocket 7s to a pair of Ks.
Two of us left and we are just checking for a couple of hands - both stealing a few blinds, me pushing with my Ace high and him folding and vice versa.
We did see one hand right through and we both ended up with 7s but his kicker was one pip above me so he won the pot.
I'm dealt A5 which is a good hand heads up and I raised. He called. Flop comes down 889 so I thought I better push all in to get him off the hand. He called and revealed his J8. Damn that was the end of me. Turn was a 10 and river was an Ace and I came 2nd.
I won $4.20 so I doubled up which is all good. Just a big shame I didn't win.

Ho semplicemente chiamato e il BB ha foldato. Due di noi nella mano e il flop scende K37 - non va bene per me. Quindi scommetto 800 supponendo che l'altro giocatore abbia un Asso o una coppia bassa. Uno dei giocatori (alla mia sinistra) ora è piuttosto short stack a causa di un gioco pessimo. Io sono SB e lo short stack è BB. Due di noi sono rimasti e stiamo solo controllando un paio di mani: entrambi hanno rubato qualche buio, io ho spinto con il mio asso alto e lui ha passato e viceversa.
Abbiamo visto una mano fino in fondo ed entrambi ci siamo ritrovati con 7 ma il suo kicker era un pip sopra di me quindi ha vinto il piatto.
Mi è stato servito A5 che è una buona mano heads up e ho rilanciato. Lui ha chiamato. Il flop scende con 889 quindi ho pensato che fosse meglio andare all in per toglierlo dalla mano. Ha chiamato e ha rivelato il suo J8. Accidenti, quella è stata la mia fine. Il turn era un 10 e il river un asso e io sono arrivato 2°.
Ho vinto $ 4,20 quindi ho raddoppiato, il che va bene. È solo un grande peccato non aver vinto.

I just played a $2.50 plus 25c 18 seater sitngo at Poker Time (6 seats to a table)
Despite the fact that I didn't think I would make top 3 for a payout, I thought it would be a bit of fun and try my hardest to stick with what I know about fish and other playing styles.
I was underdog from the beginning losing 480 chips in the first hand to a fish who hit his flush on the river. I posted and folded a few hands after this to watch the playing styles and stole a couple of pots to get my stack back up.
Unraised BB were getting lucky with cards like 24 off - lots of flush possibilities almost every hand. One of the chip leaders on our table even moaned about it and yet he was the one getting lucky with his 2h for a flush!
I had pocket Kings and just raised to take the blinds. My stack is slowly going back up but I was still 17th out of 17. 2 players were moved from our table which left 4 players.
Still posting and folding and then I got AJ suited - raised and took the blinds. Next hand a player is all in with AK suited and loses to a pocket pair of 7s. I was then moved to another table and there were 5 of us at this table. Another AJ suited for me and I take the blinds again by raising. There isn't too much action at this table. Lots of posting and folding from the other players. This goes on for some time and then another player is moved and we are down to 4 players on the table.
I was dealt 89 off and I was BB unraised. Flop comes down 3s5s8d so I bet 2xBB and was raised all in. I decided to call as the player who raised had only flat called and I guessed he had Ace plus an other high card (2 overcards) because the flop was so low. He shows his hand 4s7s so he's on a straight flush/flush/straight draw. So any 6, any spade and I'm beaten. Turn comes 2h. He now needs any Ace as well but I'm still in the lead with pair of 8s. River comes and it's a 5c. Phew - I took him out and my chips stack was at 2550.
3 of us seated at the table lost of posting and folding. I did get AK suited at one point and raised and stole the blinds. The very next hand I'm BB and the SB raised me all in and I have AK again. So I called and he shows A8. Flop comes down 3Q2, turn is 10 and river is a 3 so my AK held and he was out. I now had 4495 chips and there are just 2 of us at the table. I won a couple of hands with 2 pairs and then we were moved to the final table - 6 players.
I'm 5th out of 6 players at this point and only top 3 positions play. I'm feeling quite positive because the play from the two chip leaders at the table was "buy pots at no expense" and I'm thinking just a couple of good hands and I can double up here. Needless to say, they were stealing blinds all over the place and I decided to bide my time (as much as I could bearing in mind the blinds were getting up to the 300 mark now).
One player lost his shirt with AJ suited against one of the chip leaders who had K8 and hit the K on the river. The very next hand, the guy that had lost his shirt who only had 170 in chips left, went all in and won with AK suited but was knocked out a few hands later. This left 5 of us and I'm 2 positions away from cashing in. In the meantime, I'm still posting and folding - just getting the usual "ton of rubbish".
I was actually sitting there saying out loud - give me a nice pair, nice pocket pair. A few hands in I'm BB and I'm dealt JJ. The fishy pot stealing chip leader raised me so I just went all in (thinking its now or never) - he showed 33 against my JJ. Flop came down KA7, Turn is another Ace and river was a 6 - phew. I had doubled up and now had 5,690 chips.
A few hands on and another player goes all in with 88 - I folded but the chip leader called with A3 - flop was 3JA, turn was a J and river was an A. So one more player down and I'm 4th out of 4 players.
As usual the "big boys" are stealing the blinds. I'm SB and I'm then dealt QQ. I raised BIG pre flop and was raised all in so I called. My opponent showed 77. Flop is A6A, turn is a 9 and then the river (which took a lifetime to come) was a 2. I doubled up again and now had 8,100 chips. I was in 3rd position!
Still the blind stealing goes on and it's posting and folding for me until I hit KK. I raised really big pre-flop and took the blinds. More posting and folding, pot stealing, blind stealing and so on and I'm back in 4th place again. One of the other players (3rd position) made a large bet which was called by the chip leader. Chip leader bet "all in"and the 3rd position folded which meant he now moved down to 4th position.
A few hands on and I am dealt 10 10. I bet big and the chip leader raised me all in - I called. He showed K10. Flop comes down 10,5,3. Turn is a 7 and river is a 7 so I doubled up again with a full house. I have 10,300 chips now.
The guy in 4th position went all in with JQ suited but lost to a pair of Kings. 3 of us left and I'm definitely in the money.
I'm actually in 2nd position now as the guy that was 2nd lost a lot of chips to the chip leader. A few hands go past and the guy in 3rd goes all in with pocket 8s. Chip leader called him with A3 (must be his favourite hand - twice he did that). Flop comes down 4AK, turn is a 6 and river is a 5. He is out and there are 2 of us left.
I have 9720 chips to his 26,280. It doesn't look good.
He starts off by raising my BB and I'm folding, folding folding. I did have AQ at one point and raised and took his BB. My chips are dwindling because of the ante and the huge blinds and I'm down to 7480. Next hand I am dealt AA. Joy! I raised preflop and he called. Flop came down 789. Risky I know but I bet all in and he called. He showed K5. Turn was a 4 and river was a 9. I doubled up to 14960.
A few hands went by and neither of us were raising but we were seeing flops and I was getting lucky each time. Chip stack is up to 18k now and opponent has 17k.
I'm dealt 710 suited which isn't a bad hand at all. Opponent raised my BB so I called him. Flop came down 387. I bet - he called. Turn is a 10. I went all in - he called and showed KJ. River was an Ace - no help to him and I won the tournament and $22.50. A great result and a really good game.

Nonostante non pensassi che sarei arrivato tra i primi 3 per una vincita, ho pensato che sarebbe stato un po' divertente e fare del mio meglio per restare fedele a ciò che so sul fish e su altri stili di gioco.
Sono stato perdente fin dall'inizio perdendo 480 chips nella prima mano contro un fish che ha centrato il suo colore al river. Ho postato e passato alcune mani dopo per osservare gli stili di gioco e ho rubato un paio di piatti per rialzare il mio stack.
I BB senza rilancio sono stati fortunati con carte come 24 off: molte possibilità di colore in quasi ogni mano. Uno dei chip leader al nostro tavolo si è addirittura lamentato di ciò, eppure è stato lui ad avere fortuna con le sue 2h per un colore!
Avevo una coppia di Re e ho rilanciato per prendere i bui. Il mio stack sta lentamente risalendo, ma ero ancora 17° su 17. 2 giocatori sono stati spostati dal nostro tavolo, lasciando 4 giocatori.
Ancora puntando e foldando e poi ho trovato AJ dello stesso seme, ho rilanciato e ho preso i bui. Nella mano successiva il giocatore va all in con AK dello stesso seme e perde contro una coppia di 7. Successivamente sono stato spostato su un altro tavolo e eravamo in 5 a questo tavolo. Un altro AJ adatto per me e prendo nuovamente i bui rilanciando. Non c'è molta azione a questo tavolo. Molti post e fold da parte degli altri giocatori. Questo va avanti per un po', poi un altro giocatore viene spostato e siamo rimasti a 4 giocatori sul tavolo.
Mi sono stati distribuiti 89 e non ho rilanciato al BB. Il flop è 3s5s8d quindi ho puntato 2xBB e sono stato rilanciato all in. Ho deciso di chiamare poiché il giocatore che aveva rilanciato aveva solo chiamato flat e ho immaginato che avesse un Asso più un'altra carta alta (2 overcard) perché il flop era così basso. Mostra la sua mano 4s7s quindi ha una scala colore/colore/progetto di scala. Quindi qualsiasi 6, qualsiasi picche e sono battuto. Il turno arriva alle 2h. Adesso anche lui ha bisogno di un Asso, ma io sono ancora in vantaggio con una coppia di 8. Arriva il river ed è un 5c. Uff, l'ho eliminato e il mio stack era a 2550.
3 di noi seduti al tavolo hanno perso la pubblicazione e la piegatura. A un certo punto ho trovato AK adatto e ho rilanciato e ho rubato i bui. La mano successiva sono BB e lo SB mi ha rilanciato all in e ho di nuovo AK. Così ho chiamato e lui mostra A8. Il flop è 3Q2, il turn è 10 e il river è un 3, quindi il mio AK ha retto e lui è uscito. Adesso avevo 4495 chips e siamo solo in due al tavolo. Ho vinto un paio di mani con 2 coppie e poi siamo stati spostati al tavolo finale - 6 giocatori.
A questo punto sono quinto su 6 giocatori e giocano solo le prime 3 posizioni. Mi sento abbastanza ottimista perché la giocata dei due chip leader al tavolo è stata "comprare piatti senza spese" e penso che solo un paio di buone mani e posso raddoppiare qui. Inutile dire che stavano rubando bui ovunque e ho deciso di prendere tempo (per quanto potevo, tenendo presente che i bui stavano arrivando a quota 300).
Un giocatore ha perso la maglia con AJ dello stesso seme contro uno dei chip leader che aveva K8 e ha centrato il K al river. Nella mano successiva, il ragazzo che aveva perso la maglia e aveva solo 170 chips rimaste, è andato all in e ha vinto con AK dello stesso seme, ma è stato eliminato poche mani dopo. Rimaniamo in 5 e mi mancano 2 posizioni per incassare. Nel frattempo, sto ancora postando e foldando, ricevendo solo la solita "tonnellata di spazzatura".
In realtà ero seduto lì e dicevo ad alta voce: dammi una bella coppia, una bella coppia. Dopo qualche mano sono BB e mi viene servito JJ. Il chip leader che rubava il piatto mi ha rilanciato così sono andato all in (pensando che fosse ora o mai più) - ha mostrato 33 contro il mio JJ. Il flop è sceso con KA7, il turn è un altro asso e il river è un 6 - uff. Avevo raddoppiato e ora avevo 5.690 chips.
Qualche mano e un altro giocatore va all in con 88 - io ho foldato ma il chip leader ha chiamato con A3 - il flop era 3JA, il turn era un J e il river era un A. Quindi un altro giocatore sotto e sono 4° su 4 Giocatori.
Come al solito i "big boys" rubano i bui. Sono SB e mi viene servito QQ. Ho rilanciato ALLA GRANDE preflop e mi è stato rilanciato all in così ho chiamato. Il mio avversario ha mostrato 77. Il flop è A6A, il turn è un 9 e poi il river (che ci ha messo una vita a venire) è stato un 2. Ho raddoppiato ancora e ora avevo 8.100 chips. Ero in 3a posizione!
Tuttavia lo furto dei bui continua e per me post e fold finché non prendo KK. Ho rilanciato molto forte pre-flop e ho preso i bui. Altri post e fold, furti di piatti, furti di blind e così via e sono di nuovo al 4° posto. Uno degli altri giocatori (terza posizione) ha fatto una grossa puntata che è stata chiamata dal chip leader. Il chip leader ha puntato "all in" e la terza posizione ha foldato, il che significa che ora è sceso in quarta posizione.
Qualche mano e mi vengono distribuiti 10 10. Ho puntato forte e il chip leader mi ha rilanciato all in - ho chiamato. Ha mostrato K10. Il flop scende 10,5,3. Il turn è un 7 e il river è un 7 quindi ho raddoppiato nuovamente con un full. Adesso ho 10.300 chips.
Il ragazzo in quarta posizione è andato all in con JQ dello stesso seme ma ha perso contro una coppia di Re. Siamo rimasti in 3 e sono decisamente in denaro.
In realtà sono in seconda posizione adesso perché il ragazzo che era secondo ha perso molte chips a favore del chip leader. Passano alcune mani e il ragazzo in terza posizione va all in con una coppia di 8. Il chip leader lo ha chiamato con A3 (deve essere la sua mano preferita - lo ha fatto due volte). Il flop è 4AK, il turn è un 6 e il river è un 5. Lui è eliminato e siamo rimasti in due.
Ho 9720 chips contro le sue 26.280. Non sembra bello.
Lui inizia rilanciando il mio BB e io foldo, foldo, foldo. A un certo punto avevo AQ e ho rilanciato e ho preso il suo BB. Sono passate alcune mani e nessuno di noi ha rilanciato, ma abbiamo visto i flop e sono stato fortunato ogni volta. Lo stack di chip ora è arrivato a 18k e l'avversario ha 17k.
Mi vengono distribuite 710 carte dello stesso seme, il che non è affatto una brutta mano. L'avversario ha rilanciato il mio BB così l'ho chiamato. Il flop ha dato 387. Scommetto che ha chiamato. Il turn è un 10. Sono andato all in - lui ha chiamato e ha mostrato KJ. Il River era un asso: nessun aiuto per lui e ho vinto il torneo e $22,50. Un grande risultato e una partita davvero bella.

i always end up hating myself for slowplaying aces or other winning hands, to get "flushed" or "straighted out" on the river...
not give them an inch you say, but on the other hand that would mean i can only play on position, and have to fold if i dont hit a lot, which is not my style:)
i still have a lot of wins in live play, cause somehow, in casino's and private tourneys these fish dont appear there as much.
and i can read people if i look at them: which i depend on heavily.
but you seem to be a tight one, with a lot of patience, and they say thats the only way to be + EV online..
i hope you keep winning, and show those fish who's boss!

Thanks guys for your nice comments. In life I am a patient person and it rubs off in the poker. I love live play (with the family) and I've only ever played one real live game at a casino. It was a rebuy and add-on and with the size of the rebuy there was no way that I could afford to do that. I will say the people at my table all re-bought twice before I went out so I thought it was a good achievement.
It's a shame you find it so frustrating - I know it can be sometimes. My suggestion to you - if you want a great game of poker - find the "double your stake" tables. If there are 10 of you, 5 of you double up your buyin. These games are usually quality - definitely worth a go.

Adoro il gioco dal vivo (con la famiglia) e ho giocato solo a un vero gioco dal vivo in un casinò. Si trattava di un rebuy e di un add-on e con l'entità del rebuy non potevo assolutamente permettermi di farlo. Devo dire che tutte le persone al mio tavolo hanno riacquistato due volte prima che uscissi, quindi ho pensato che fosse un buon risultato.
È un peccato che tu lo trovi così frustrante, so che a volte può esserlo. Il mio consiglio per te: se vuoi fare una bella partita a poker, trova i tavoli "raddoppia la tua puntata". Se siete in 10, 5 di voi raddoppiano il buy-in. Questi giochi sono generalmente di qualità: vale sicuramente la pena provarli.

Oh dear!
I just played like a total moron....in a 5 seater sitngo on Poker Time. It was a €0.50 + 0.10 Normal game.
First hand, I folded but someone was knocked out. The cards were as follows: JsAh4cJc8c and before the final card was down, they were both all in. They showed their hands and one of them had 3s9d - so nothing there and the other one had 2c3c and won with a flush. I knew from the start this was going to be a poor game.
The usual tactics were there - raise pre-flop, min bet all the way until the river and then raise on the river and so on. I was dealt AK at one point and the guy pulled the above tactics - raise pre-flop, bet min, and then raise big on the river. I called the pre-flop raise and the flop was 923. He bet, I called and the turn was a 7. He bet I called and the river was a 4. He bet 2xBB and I called. My AK won against his Q8. (I'm thinking well if this is the standard it should be a breeze - having thought that thought, I also thought - I'm no better, calling his bets when I had nothing but 2 over cards).
A few hands in and another guy is all in on a bluff and is knocked out. This left 3 of us.
I'm folding and folding and folding - just rubbish after more rubbish. In the meantime, the stack is dwindling away. I won a nice pot on a flush but only because I fished to the river - my play was dire to be honest.
Carrying on folding and my BB is being raised most hands. Then I got A9 and I thought I would go with it. So I called the raise and the flop came down 34A. My opponent went all in and I just called - it was probably a bad call however, he showed his hand which was A7. The turn came J and the river was a 10 so my 9 counted and he was out and I had doubled up virtually.
Now down to 2 of us. He was betting and raising most hands and I had my usual rubbish so I was folding a lot. I then hit AA which was pretty nice. I raised pre-flop - think it was about 4x BB and he called. Flop came down 8h5s5h and I just went all in and he folded. Not worth chancing him getting lucky with a flush or a straight and I thought it would be worth just taking the pot now.
A few hands further on and I'm dealt AK. He raised pre-flop so I called. The flop came down 826. He bet big and I called - I figured he was buying the pot. The turn came and it was an Ace. He bet big and I called him. River was a 5 and he bet big again so I called again. He showed his hand and he had a pair of 8s - 89 off.
His stack was pretty much depleted now; he had 1400 left. He stole a few blinds and then I got 77 and I raised him pre-flop. He just went all in and he showed 89 suited spades. Flop was 55J, turn was another 5 and the river was a 3. He was gone and I won the game.
At the beginning of this post I said I played like a moron and writing it out really shows how moronic I played. However, having said that I made some good calls (even though they were bad calls) based on what I had seen of the other players play. It was a good game but on the other hand, it was a bad game.
Nice that I won though. I won €1.25 so just over doubled my layout.

(Penso che se questo è lo standard dovrebbe essere un gioco da ragazzi - dopo aver pensato a questo pensiero, ho anche pensato - non sono migliore, vedendo le sue puntate quando non avevo altro che 2 carte over).
Qualche mano e un altro giocatore va all-in in un bluff e viene eliminato. Questo ha lasciato 3 di noi.
Piego, piego e piego: solo spazzatura dopo ancora spazzatura. Nel frattempo il montepremi diminuisce. Ho vinto un bel piatto con un colore, ma solo perché ho pescato fino al river: a dire il vero, il mio gioco è stato terribile.
Continuo a foldare e il mio BB viene rilanciato con la maggior parte delle mani. Poi ho preso A9 e ho pensato di seguirlo. Così ho chiamato il rilancio e il flop è sceso 34A. Il mio avversario è andato all in e io ho semplicemente chiamato: probabilmente è stata una brutta chiamata, tuttavia ha mostrato la sua mano che era A7. Il turn è arrivato J e il river era un 10 quindi il mio 9 contava e lui era eliminato e io avevo virtualmente raddoppiato.
Ora siamo in due. Stava puntando e rilanciando la maggior parte delle mani e io avevo la mia solita spazzatura, quindi ho foldato molto. Poi ho premuto AA, il che è stato piuttosto carino. Ho rilanciato pre-flop - penso fosse circa 4x BB e lui ha chiamato. Il flop è sceso 8h5s5h e io sono andato all in e lui ha foldato. Non vale la pena rischiare che sia fortunato con un colore o una scala e ho pensato che valeva la pena semplicemente prendere il piatto adesso.

All'inizio di questo post ho detto che ho giocato come un idiota e scriverlo dimostra davvero quanto ho giocato come un idiota. Tuttavia, detto questo, ho fatto alcune buone chiamate (anche se erano pessime) basandomi su ciò che avevo visto giocare dagli altri giocatori. È stata una bella partita, ma d’altro canto è stata una brutta partita.
Bello però che ho vinto. Ho vinto € 1,25 quindi ho appena raddoppiato il mio layout.

Full Tilt - what can I say!
I joined a 9 seater $1 sitngo. In the first 3 hands, 3 people were knocked out by the same person.
I was just folding as usual. Then I got A10 suited. I was big blind and the guy that knocked out 3 people was SB so he had a very large stack. He didn't raise pre-flop and neither did I. Flop was JQA. He bet min and I just flat called. Turn was a 4. He bet the pot so I just went all in except for 95 chips. He re-raised me all in. I called. He shows A3 and I have my A10 so I'm in the lead. River comes a 3. Can you believe that....well yes you can actually.
He knew it was a bad beat and even apologised for it. Don't you just hate it when that happens!
I'll have to have another game to get my money back!

Stavo semplicemente foldando come al solito. Poi ho preso A10 adatto. Ero al big blind e il ragazzo che ha eliminato 3 persone era SB quindi aveva uno stack molto grande. Lui non ha rilanciato pre-flop e nemmeno io. Il flop era JQA. Lui ha scommesso un minimo e io ho semplicemente chiamato. Al turn era un 4. Lui ha puntato il piatto quindi sono andato all in tranne che per 95 chips. Lui mi ha rilanciato all-in. Ho chiamato. Lui mostra A3 e io ho il mio A10 quindi sono in testa. Al river esce un 3. Riesci a crederci... beh sì, puoi davvero.
Sapeva che era stata una brutta sconfitta e si è persino scusato per questo. Non odi semplicemente quando ciò accade!
Dovrò fare un altro gioco per riavere i miei soldi!

I'm just having a $1.50 6 seater super turbo sitngo on Full Tilt. 300 starting chips so its going to be a short game.
A few hands in and I'm posting and folding the rubbish. Nobody has gone all in yet which is an achievement in itself.
Oops - I spoke to soon. After I typed the above, went back to the game and one guy is all in. The flop is showing 498. One guy has K J (all in) and the other player is showing 43. The turn is 5 and the river is a 5. One player down.
A few hands pass - me folding my rubbish (93, 82 etc). It's a fast game and my little stack is dwindling.
My turn for BB. I have J5 suited. SB just flat called and everyone else is folded - I check. The flop is 10 7 A. SB checks so I bet 2xBB and SB folds. Nice bluff to steal the pot.
Two hands along, I get AK off. I went all in as my stack isn't too large (145). Everyone folds and I win the blinds. A few hands pass and nobody is playing their cards until one guy raises the blind pre flop. I have pocket 4s. Worth a look but 2 others call as well including BB. Flop is A88 and my 4s are not looking too good. The original raiser bets 50 (min) and I folded along with one other player which leaves 2 of them in the hand (the original raiser and the BB). Turn is a 3. Original raiser bets 50 and he is re-raised by the guy who was BB. I'm thinking the original raiser has got Aces but the other guy could have got lucky with the 8 seeing as he reraised. He called the reraise. Final card is a 3 so there are two pairs on the table with the Ace kicker. The original raiser calls the "all in" bet from the BB. They show their hands and the original raiser has A7 and BB has 8J. How lucky can you get? A good fold by me nonetheless. The loser on that hand has only 40 chips left and he is all in next hand along with 2 other players. The player with 40 chips wins the hand and one player is knocked out. There are 4 of us left.
A few hands pass - no real action. I then get dealt pocket 5s. I'm the dealer and BB is the only one that called my pathetic 120 chip all in.
My opponent shows AJ. Flop comes down JJ3. I know the end is nigh...turn is a 7 and the only card that can save me is a 5 to give me the fullhouse. The river is another 3. So I am out in 4th position.
Not a good result but I did the best I could with the hands that I had.

Quanto puoi essere fortunato? Comunque un buon fold da parte mia. Il perdente di quella mano ha solo 40 fiches rimaste e sarà tutto nella mano successiva insieme ad altri 2 giocatori. Il giocatore con 40 fiches vince la mano e un giocatore viene eliminato. Siamo rimasti in 4.
Passano poche mani, nessuna vera azione. Poi mi viene distribuita una coppia di 5. Io sono il dealer e BB è l'unico che ha chiamato all in la mia patetica fiche da 120.
Il mio avversario mostra AJ. Il flop scende JJ3. So che la fine è vicina... il turno è un 7 e l'unica carta che può salvarmi è un 5 che mi dà il full. Il river è un altro 3. Quindi sono fuori in 4a posizione.
Non è stato un bel risultato ma ho fatto del mio meglio con le mani che avevo.

After suffering terrible poker withdrawal symptoms, it being late at night, I managed to get a game or two at Full Tilt.
The first game was a total disaster - me being knocked out with my pocket 6s by someone with pocket 9s who hit trips.
The second game was a little better. $2.00 plus 25c 9 seater sitngo.
I haven't played a hand in the first 10 hands - all pure rubbish. BB raises on this 10th hand and one player calls. The flop is 5,4,10. The player who was not BB is first to act and bets all in (975). BB calls and they show their cards. The all in player shows K10 and BB shows AK. The turn comes down an Ace and the river is a 2. So we are down to 8 players.
Everyone is playing tight - even the guy that was sat out for the entire game! I guess I will never understand the reasoning behind that. Sitting out the entire game when you've paid good money to play poker. I guess his "sit out" play is better than his poker play.
4 hands on and I'm dealt AK as SB. One player raises to 180 everyone except me folds. I'd been watching this player and some of their hands were dire to say the least. They had also been stealing a few blinds so I thought I may as well call. The flop was Q97. My opponent bet 240 and I called. I have two over cards and a good chance of hitting one of them (am I turning into a fish?) The next card is a 5 and we both check. The river is a K and I bet 240, opponent called and I won the pot. My opponent showed their cards and they had JJ. Lucky me that hand.
A few hands in and I'm dealt 10 10. I'm not overly keen on this pair - it's neither here nor there so I just min raised to see what would happen. There are 2 callers. Unfortunately, the guy sitting out was BB and it may have looked like I was trying to steal. The flop comes down J26. One guy checks and I bet 160 and they both call. Turn is a 4. One guy checks and I bet 240 this time to get some sort of reaction. One player called and the other guy raised to 800. I'm thinking hard now - he seemed a reasonable player and I hadn't seen him bluff so I suspected he had trip 4s and folded. The other player called. River is a 5. 400 is the bet and the other player called all in. He showed his pocket 4s and the other guy had AJ so I was well beaten on all fronts and it was a good fold.
We are now down to 7 players. A few blinds are stolen here and there - lots of folding from everyone. A few hands in and I'm dealt KQ on BB. SB just flat called and I checked. Flop is 782. We both check. Turn is an ace. We both check again. The river is a K. Opponent bet 100 and I called. He shows K6 and my K Q wins with the higher kicker.
Another player gets knocked out a few hands down the line with his A4 suited against A10 which leaves just 6 of us including the guy sitting out....still.
I'm posting and folding as normal - I'm SB and before it gets to my turn, one player raises 355 and one player calls. Both myself and BB fold. First to act checks and the guy that was the dealer bet 320 - opponent calls. Turn is a 10 and both players check. The river is a K - first player bets 915 and his opponent (the dealer) raises all in. The other guy calls and they show their cards. The first guy shows 75 so he has a pair of 5s! The dealer shows JQ and wins with a straight. Down to 5 players.
The guy that is sitting out is getting his blinds stolen - of course - and I'm just posting and folding. A lot of hands later, I'm dealt AA and instead of fussing around, I just went all in and stole the blinds. I'm happy with that. I would rather take the blinds than lose to a poor hand.
We are now at the 53rd hand and I'm dealt 88 so I just flat called the BB and everyone else is folded. The flop is Q36. Opponent who is first to act checks and I bet 300. My opponent raised me all in with 2,140 and I call with my 1380. As I clicked that call button, I wondered if I was making a mistake but taking into account the person who made the all in bet, I felt it was right having seen some very dodgy betting before. They showed their hand which was 86. So I have 8s and they have 6s. The turn was an Ace and the river a 3 so it was fortunately no help to them and I won the hand.
Hand 66 and the "sitout" guy is all in with 59 off. He loses to a pair of jacks and its bye bye and 2 bucks down the pan for him. 4 of us left now. One more to go out and I'm in the money.
There is plenty of folding going on and on the 72nd hand, SB goes all in for 3200 and BB calls giving a return of 260 to SB. The hands show and SB has Q5 and BB has A6 and takes the pot after K77A2 come onto the table. Still 4 of us left in.
A few hands on and I'm SB and dealt 1010. The guy with not so many chips left goes all in for 780 (he or she won a couple of hands in between) I called as did BB. The flop comes down K910. I checked and BB went all in with 3540 chips. I called and showed my trips and BB had JK and the all in player had A4. The turn was an A and the river a 2. I won the side pot and the main pot and one more player is out.
3 of us left so I'm definitely in the money.
78th hand and I'm the dealer. I folded, SB goes all in and BB calls. They show their hands and SB has K4 and BB has K7. The flop is 9 10 J, turn is an Ace and the river an 8 so the BB hit a nice straight and SB was out.
2 of us left and the game goes on. Lots of folding and raising to take the blinds going on. Moving onto the 90th hand. I'm SB and I'm dealt 77. This is a great hand heads up and without too much thought I raised the bet to 2,400 (3x BB). The guy raises me all in so I called. Cards are shown and he has KQ suited against my 77. The flop is K104 and I instantly knew this was the end of the game. Turn is a 10 and the river is a 2. No use to me and I finish in 2nd place taking $5.40 for my troubles.
It was a good game and I really enjoyed it. Shame he got lucky with his K but that's the risk heads up. Any high card is a good card heads up but a pocket pair is an excellent hand. Needless to say, it wasn't enough but I would do the same again so I don't think it was bad play.

Il dealer mostra JQ e vince con una scala. Fino a 5 giocatori.
Al ragazzo che è seduto si stanno rubando i bui - ovviamente - e io sto semplicemente puntando e foldando. Molte mani dopo, mi è stato assegnato AA e invece di agitarmi, sono andato all in e ho rubato i bui. Ne sono felice. Preferirei prendere i bui piuttosto che perdere con una mano povera.

A me non serve e finisco al 2° posto prendendo $5,40 per i miei guai.
È stata una bella partita e mi è davvero piaciuto. Peccato che abbia avuto fortuna con la sua K, ma questo è il rischio a testa alta. Qualsiasi carta alta è una buona carta heads-up, ma una coppia in mano è una mano eccellente. Inutile dire che non è bastato, ma rifarei lo stesso, quindi non penso che sia stata una brutta giocata.

I'm playing the ring games at Full Tilt 1c/2c! I know - big stakes.
I played yesterday too, just to earn the poker points for the "take 2" bonus that's running at the moment. I have played ring games before but not too often.
I have to say that it is fairly easy money. I've managed to increase my bankroll by about $3 so far. Its amazing some of the calls that are being made.
I just had AA and as I said above, the stakes are 1c/2c. I bet 10c which is one eighth of your max sit down cash (Max is 80c). I get one caller. The flop was Q74. They have approx. 50c left after the flop so I just bet to put them all in and they called. They showed Ace 7. Nothing came on the turn or river to help her and I won the pot.
If you fancy playing and making some easy(ish) cash, then I recommend the ring games for sure.
I just had a look at my stats on Sharkscope and it says I'm "Hot" at the moment. Hot = won 3 games in a row. These would be sitngos and ring games aren't shown.

Se hai voglia di giocare e guadagnare qualche soldo facile, allora ti consiglio sicuramente i giochi ring.

Well to say that this is a bit cheeky is an understatement.
I really "needed" a game of poker despite the fact that it was really late last night when I decided to play and I was really shattered as I was up pretty early yesterday.
I decided to have a game on Poker Time and I went for the "double your money" 10 seater €1 sit n go.
To say my hands were dire is an understatement. I had nothing but rubbish so I'm posting and folding.
The next thing I know, it's 4 am and I'm "kissing the keyboard" - I had fallen asleep on the computer chair, still logged into Poker Time but no game running. The great part about this story is that I had managed to double my money despite the fact that I was happily snoring away whilst the game went on.
Note to self: Next time you want a game, make sure you stay awake!

Beh, dire che questo è un po' sfacciato è un eufemismo.
Avevo davvero "bisogno" di una partita a poker nonostante il fatto che ieri sera fosse molto tardi quando ho deciso di giocare ed ero davvero distrutto perché ieri mi ero alzato piuttosto presto.
Ho deciso di fare una partita su Poker Time e ho optato per il sit n go da 10 posti "raddoppia i tuoi soldi" da 1 €.
Dire che le mie mani erano terribili è un eufemismo. Non avevo altro che spazzatura, quindi pubblico e piego.
Quello che poi so, sono le 4 del mattino e sto "baciando la tastiera": mi ero addormentato sulla sedia del computer, ero ancora loggato su Poker Time ma nessun gioco in esecuzione. La cosa bella di questa storia è che sono riuscito a raddoppiare i miei soldi nonostante russassi allegramente mentre il gioco andava avanti.

As you may or may not know, 365Bonitas Poker (USA OK) are giving away free poker money in the form of 10 x 50c sitngo coupons.
You can get these by going to "player admin" when you are logged into the site (in the lobby). I got mine and had trouble figuring out how to use them. Finally worked it out that it is the second option down when you register for a 50c sitngo. If you have won some cash or deposited and still have these coupons left, make sure you select the 2nd option down or you will have your bankroll cash used.
Anyway - I signed up and decided to have a game to see what the players/site was like. have to say it is the same setup as Carbon Poker being on the merge network. Not bad sites these in my view.

This is just a quick post about a tourney I played at Full Tilt.
I'm not a big tourney player but I used to be. I prefer the sitngo's.
Anyway, I entered the $1 tournament and there were 470 odd entrants at the point it was about to close but a late registration saw the number rocket to 817.
I played pretty tight the entire game and I saw the most dreadful plays that actually paid off. One particular one that springs to mind was when BB had been raised so he re-raised and the opponent that was left in re-raised all in.
The hands came down and I was pretty gobsmacked when I saw what the other guy had re-raised with.

The flop came down with 3 x clubs (I can't remember them unfortunately) and the opponent cracked the guys Aces with a very poor flush. What made it worse was the idiot with the clubs just "laughed" in the chat screen. I'm at a loss to think why a person would re-raise all in with a hand like that pre-flop.
Anyway - as I said this is just a very brief write up. There were 28 people left and I was at around 16th.
I was dealt 
and I was Big Blind which was around 2k/4k at the time (if I remember correctly). I had 14k so decided this was a great opportunity to either just steal or get called by an Ace high hopeful. I raised all in when it was my turn and managed to get one caller.

I knew my fate was sealed at this point. My only hope was a 10 on the river.
The final card came down and I was out at 25th position.
I showed a net profit of $2.09 [$3.19 win] for my efforts and considering I hadn't played in a large tourney like that for a while, I thought it was pretty reasonable to come 25th.
I am considering upping my buy in to a more expensive tourney. I'll post it if I do. In the meantime, I'm fancying another game right now, so I will probably be posting another [sitngo] later.

Questo è solo un breve post su un torneo a cui ho giocato su Full Tilt .
Non sono un grande giocatore di tornei, ma lo ero. Preferisco i sitngo.
Ad ogni modo, ho partecipato al torneo da $ 1 e c'erano 470 partecipanti dispari al momento della chiusura, ma una registrazione tardiva ha visto il numero salire a 817.
Ho giocato piuttosto serrato per tutta la partita e ho visto le giocate più terribili che hanno dato i loro frutti. Uno in particolare che mi viene in mente è stato quando BB era stato rilanciato, quindi ha controrilanciato e l'avversario rimasto ha controrilanciato all in.
Le mani si sono abbassate e sono rimasto piuttosto sbalordito quando ho visto con cosa aveva rilanciato l'altro.

Il flop è sceso con 3 fiori (non riesco a ricordarli purtroppo) e l'avversario ha rotto gli assi con un colore molto scarso. Ciò che ha peggiorato le cose è stato che l'idiota con i club ha semplicemente "riso" nella schermata della chat. Non riesco a capire perché una persona dovrebbe rilanciare all-in con una mano come quella pre-flop.
Comunque, come ho detto, questo è solo un breve resoconto. Erano rimaste 28 persone e io ero intorno al 16esimo.
Mi è stato trattato ed io avevo il Big Blind che all'epoca era intorno ai 2k/4k (se ricordo bene). Avevo 14k quindi ho deciso che era una grande opportunità per semplicemente rubare o essere chiamato da un speranzoso Asso alto. Ho rilanciato all in quando è arrivato il mio turno e sono riuscito a ricevere un call.

Sto pensando di aumentare il mio buy-in per un torneo più costoso. Lo pubblicherò se lo faccio. Nel frattempo, ho voglia di un altro gioco in questo momento, quindi probabilmente ne pubblicherò un altro [sitngo] più tardi.

Worst game ever! :o
I just played a quick turbo dollar sitngo on Full Tilt and the standard of play was pretty poor.
I say "worst game" because of the poor play and bad beats.
First player is knocked out with the following hand: (both players are all in)
One player has

There was one player who kept raising all the time - stealing blinds mostly.
A few hands in and I'm dealt so I just flat called. There is one caller, SB calls and BB checks.
The flop comes down 
and SB is first to act and bets 50. BB folds and the other player (the guy that was raising most hands) calls, so I just flat called. The turn is 
, SB checks, the other player checks so I bet the pot of 350. SB folds and the other guy calls. I\'d seen this guy fishing to the river so I thought 350 would be enough to see him off - obviously not! The river falls and is 
. I decided it was do or die time so just went all in and the other guy folded. He was probably chasing a straight.
The very next hand and the guy that had been raising all the time raised (UTG) to 180 and he is immediately re-raised to 650. Everyone folds except the UTG guy and the cards are shown. I couldn't believe my eyes:

So the re-raiser won with a pair of 2s from an 8 2 off hand. I just couldn't believe it....but some may say "thats poker". That's not poker - thats just a joke.
That 82 off person was knocked out a few hands in when they lost with their (they hit aces) and lost to trip
So 7 players left and the game goes on. Players are stealing blinds left, right and centre. At one point was cracked by when came on the flop. He lost most of his chips and was out next hand.
Down to 6 and the blind stealing continues.
I'm doing my usual, posting and folding. A few more hands on and UTG calls BB (160), the guy that was stealing blinds raises to 480, UTG calls and everyone else has folded.

UTG bets all in with 120 and the remaining player calls. They show their hands.

So one more is knocked out and there are 5 of us left.
The blinds are now 120/240 and I'm getting low on chips. My blinds are being stolen but my hands are just dire so no point in calling/raising.

C'era un giocatore che continuava a rilanciare in continuazione, rubando per lo più i bui.
Qualche mano e mi viene servito quindi ho semplicemente chiamato. C'è un chiamante, chiamate SB e controlli BB.
Arriva il flop e SB è il primo ad agire e punta 50. BB passa e l'altro giocatore (il ragazzo che stava rilanciando la maggior parte delle mani) chiama, quindi ho semplicemente chiamato. Il turno è , SB fa check, l'altro giocatore fa check quindi io punto il piatto di 350. SB passa e l'altro chiama. Avevo visto questo ragazzo pescare al fiume quindi ho pensato che 350 sarebbero stati sufficienti per salutarlo - ovviamente no! Il fiume cade ed è . Ho deciso che era il momento di fare o morire, quindi sono andato all in e l'altro ha foldato. Probabilmente stava inseguendo una scala.
La mano successiva e il ragazzo che aveva rilanciato per tutto il tempo ha rilanciato (UTG) a 180 e lui ha immediatamente controrilanciato a 650. Tutti foldano tranne il ragazzo UTG e vengono mostrate le carte. Non potevo credere ai miei occhi:

Quella persona con 82 punti è stata eliminata dopo poche mani quando ha perso con la sua (hanno trovato gli assi) e hanno perso per un tris
Quindi rimangono 7 giocatori e il gioco continua. I giocatori rubano i bui a sinistra, a destra e al centro. A un certo punto è stato rotto da Quando è arrivato al flop. Ha perso la maggior parte delle sue chips ed è stato eliminato nella mano successiva.
Si scende a 6 e lo furto dei bui continua.
Sto facendo il mio solito, postando e piegando. Ancora qualche mano e l'UTG chiama BB (160), il ragazzo che stava rubando i bui rilancia a 480, l'UTG chiama e tutti gli altri hanno foldato.

I'm not posting a game today. I'm posting my hand of the week!
I played in a tournament at Full Tilt - just a $2 buy in and I came 160th out of 532 so no payout for me.
I did enjoy it though and had one of my favourite hand results and this is my poker hand of the week. I feel there should be flashing stars around those words and a couple of trumpets playing in the background.
Anyway, I was dealt and I was 2 away from the BB so I just flat called the big blind which was $60.
The guy next to me (left of me) calls and BB checks. The flop came down .
I have trips and I have no doubt that someone is on a draw for a straight or may indeed, already have it. Im 2nd to act next to BB. BB checks, I check and the guy next to me bet $60 so BB folds and I just flat called.
Now I know this is a dangerous situation, the guy could hit or already have hit his straight and unless I hit the full house, I could lose a good few, if not all, of my chips.
The turn is

I have the full house but there is the chance the other guy could have either

or and have the straight flush.
I check. Player next to me bets $60 so I decided to test the water and bet the pot which was a total of $510. He flat called my raise.

I'm truly hoping this guy just has a normal straight against my full house. I'm quite sure he would have re-raised me all in if he had already hit it on the turn. So I go for the throat and bet all in for $1350. The guy calls all in and shows so he had the straight from the getgo and I'm guessing he was praying for the to come on the river.
Lucky me took the pot for $5050 and he missed his straight flush and was knocked out.
A great hand which is one of my favourite outcomes - the straight against the well hidden full house.

Non pubblicherò una partita oggi. Pubblico la mia mano della settimana!
Ho giocato in un torneo su Full Tilt : solo $2 di buy in e sono arrivato 160° su 532, quindi nessuna vincita per me.
Mi sono comunque divertito e ho ottenuto uno dei miei risultati di mano preferiti e questa è la mia mano di poker della settimana. Sento che dovrebbero esserci delle stelle lampeggianti attorno a quelle parole e un paio di trombe che suonano in sottofondo.
Comunque, mi è stato trattato ed ero a 2 dal BB quindi ho semplicemente chiamato il big blind che era di $60.
Il ragazzo accanto a me (a sinistra di me) chiama e il BB fa check. Il flop è arrivato .
Ho un tris e non ho dubbi che qualcuno abbia un pareggio per una scala o potrebbe già averla. Sono il secondo ad agire accanto a BB. BB fa check, io checko e il ragazzo accanto a me punta $60 così BB folda e io semplicemente chiamo.
Ora so che questa è una situazione pericolosa, il ragazzo potrebbe centrare o aver già centrato la sua scala e, a meno che non raggiunga il full, potrei perdere un bel po', se non tutte, delle mie chips.

Ho il tutto esaurito ma c'è la possibilità che anche l'altro ragazzo possa averlo O O e avere la scala colore.
Verifico. Il giocatore accanto a me punta $60 quindi ho deciso di testare il terreno e puntare il piatto che ammontava a un totale di $510. Ha semplicemente chiamato il mio rilancio.

Spero davvero che questo ragazzo abbia una scala normale contro il mio full house. Sono abbastanza sicuro che mi avrebbe controrilanciato all in se avesse già centrato la carta al turn. Quindi vado alla gola e punto all-in per $1350. Il ragazzo chiama all in e mostra quindi aveva la dritta fin dall'inizio e immagino che stesse pregando per il venire sul fiume.
Per mia fortuna ho preso il piatto da $5050 e lui ha mancato la sua scala colore ed è stato eliminato.
Una grande mano che è uno dei miei risultati preferiti: la scala contro il full ben nascosto.

Just played a 9 seater $2 sitngo at Full Tilt.
A really good but very long game with a couple of quality players made it a tough fight to even place. 191 hands in total. I enjoyed it once the usual bluffers were knocked out. You will see throughout my play that pocket KINGS were popping up in many of my hands (which I am certainly not complaining about).
The game kicks off with the usual "all ins" from the poor players. There was a great cookery program on the TV and I must admit to being a bit distracted at first.....and that was when I looked at the screen and saw the little button "I'm back". I pointed at myself to see what cards I had folded and it was :o
What a waste however there was an ace on the board and chances are, I would have lost to an Ace rag fisher.
A few hands on and I'm dealt . Blinds are 20/40 so I raised to 200 and I got one caller.
Flop comes down
Rather than chance my opponent fishing for a flush (poor player from the previous few hands - bit of a calling station) I decided to just go all in after they checked. Opponent folded and I won the pot of 500.
After a few more hands, one player is knocked out with against . Aces held and one is out.
Another player was knocked out a few hands in (all in with pocket 6s) against - he hit trips on the flop.
One more player is out and a few hands down the line, I'm dealt Blinds are 60/120 and I'm in a perfect position as the dealer. Everyone else has folded and I bet 5x BB again and SB and BB folded.
A few more hands along and another player is out and we are down to 5 of us. At this point we have played 60 hands and I am 2nd to bottom stack with 1555 chips - top stack has 4395.
My chips are dwindling and I need to start calling mediocre hands - I'm dealt
The flop is and Im first to act. I just check as do the two other players in the hand.
Turn is so I bet 320 and I get one caller.
River is so I just bet all in and opponent calls. I won with my two pairs and he showed
A few hands in and another player is out aginst a pair of 4s. So we are down to the last 4 and only 3 places pay. Everyone tightens up their play.
I am YET AGAIN dealt - I raise high and everyone folds. So this is the 4th time I've been dealt pocket kings.
Loads of hands on - after much blind stealing/folding by everyone, I am dealt I raise big and everyone folds.
After 120 hands another player is out and I'm finally "in the money". Nothing much happened for the next 20 hands until I am dealt......you guessed it - I just raised and stole the blinds as the two opponents left were quality players.
We are all posting and folding - hands are dire - there's a bit of stealing going on too until........yes I got em again:

Thank goodness I didn\'t get them then. Needless to say, the Aces held and we are now down to two. My opponent has most of the chips.
Few hands were actually played until the final hand when I'm dealt which is quite a good hand heads up. We had both been folding a lot and I thought this was a good opportunity to double up.....maybe!
Anyway, I just went all in (based on his previous play, he was folding rubbish) - opponent calls and shows
The cards are no help to me whatsoever and his pocket 4s hold.
Now I know that this isn't "big bucks" poker but against a quality player like the guy that won it, it makes for a great game. I really enjoyed this one even though it was pretty lengthy.
As for the pocket kings - unbelievable that I should be dealt them so many times.

Una partita davvero bella ma molto lunga con un paio di giocatori di qualità ha reso difficile la lotta per il pareggio. 191 mani in totale. Mi sono divertito una volta eliminati i soliti bluffatori. Vedrai durante il mio gioco che pocket KINGs sono comparsi in molte delle mie mani (cosa di cui certamente non mi lamento).
La partita inizia con il solito “all in” da parte dei giocatori mediocri. C'era un bellissimo programma di cucina in TV e devo ammettere che all'inizio ero un po' distratto... ed è stato allora che ho guardato lo schermo e ho visto il piccolo pulsante "Sono tornato". Ho indicato me stesso per vedere quali carte avevo passato e così era :o
Che spreco, tuttavia, c'era un asso sul board ed è probabile che avrei perso contro un asso stracciatore.
Qualche mano e ho finito . I bui sono 20/40 quindi ho rilanciato a 200 e ho ricevuto un call.
Il flop scende
Piuttosto che rischiare che il mio avversario cercasse un colore (povero giocatore delle mani precedenti - un po' una call station) ho deciso di andare all in dopo che hanno fatto check. L'avversario ha foldato e io ho vinto il piatto di 500.
Dopo qualche altra mano, un giocatore viene eliminato contro . Gli assi tengono e uno è eliminato.
Un altro giocatore è stato eliminato dopo alcune mani (all in con coppia di 6). - ha centrato un tris al flop.
Un altro giocatore è eliminato e poche mani dopo mi viene servito I blind sono 60/120 e sono in una posizione perfetta come dealer. Tutti gli altri hanno foldato e io ho puntato di nuovo 5x BB e SB e BB hanno foldato.
Ancora qualche mano e un altro giocatore viene eliminato e siamo rimasti in 5. A questo punto abbiamo giocato 60 mani e io sono dal 2° all'ultimo stack con 1555 chips - lo stack più alto ne ha 4395.
Le mie chips stanno diminuendo e devo iniziare a chiamare mani mediocri: ho finito
Il flop è e sono il primo ad agire. Faccio semplicemente check come fanno gli altri due giocatori nella mano.
Il turno è quindi scommetto 320 e ricevo un call.
Il fiume lo è quindi punto all-in e l'avversario chiama. Ho vinto con la mia doppia coppia e lui ha dimostrato
Alcune mani in dentro e un altro giocatore viene eliminato contro una coppia di 4. Quindi siamo rimasti agli ultimi 4 e pagano solo 3 posti. Tutti rafforzano il loro gioco.
Sono ANCORA trattato - Io rilancio alto e tutti foldano. Quindi questa è la quarta volta che mi viene distribuita una coppia di re.
Un sacco di mani - dopo molti blind steal/fold da parte di tutti, mi viene servito Io rilancio alla grande e tutti foldano.
Dopo 120 mani un altro giocatore esce e io sono finalmente "in the money". Non è successo molto nelle successive 20 mani finché non mi è stata distribuita... avete indovinato - Ho appena rilanciato e rubato i bui poiché i due avversari rimasti erano giocatori di qualità.
Stiamo tutti postando e foldando - le mani sono terribili - c'è anche un po' di furto in corso finché... sì, li ho presi di nuovo:

Poche mani sono state effettivamente giocate fino alla mano finale in cui mi è stata distribuita che è una buona mano heads up. Entrambi abbiamo foldato molto e ho pensato che questa fosse una buona opportunità per raddoppiare...forse!
Comunque, sono andato all-in (sulla base della sua giocata precedente, stava foldando in modo spazzatura) - l'avversario chiama e mostra
Le carte non mi aiutano in alcun modo e la sua coppia di 4 tiene.
Ora so che questo non è un poker da "grandi soldi", ma contro un giocatore di qualità come il ragazzo che lo ha vinto, è un gioco fantastico. Questo mi è piaciuto molto anche se era piuttosto lungo.
Per quanto riguarda i pocket kings, è incredibile che me li abbiano distribuiti così tante volte.

i have the feeling you might be ready ^^
your tight, but not too tight, your well aware of the odds, and i think you are very observant @ your fellow players:
all the qualities needed to be a good player imo, the best you can doto rule out as many nitwits as possible, is to go to more expensive limits or tourenys, its in no way a guarantee, but in general, i think the play will be more enjoyable and challenging!
im not saying $50/100 blinds :P
maybe $1/2, $2/4 and tourneys with 11$ buyin?

sei serrato, ma non troppo stretto, sei ben consapevole delle probabilità e penso che tu sia molto attento ai tuoi compagni giocatori:
tutte le qualità necessarie per essere un buon giocatore, secondo me, la cosa migliore che puoi fare per escludere quanti più idioti possibile, è andare a limiti o toureny più costosi, non è in alcun modo una garanzia, ma in generale, penso che il gioco sarà essere più divertente e stimolante!
Non sto dicendo bui da $ 50/100: P
magari $1/2, $2/4 e tornei con buy-in da 11$?

Well I did up the stakes to a $5 6 seater Turbo sitngo at Full Tilt. Not a great idea as you only get 300 chips and despite me doubling up on the first hand with a pair of "Mago" , I came 4th when my failed against a "Doyle Brunson" .
Whilst this game was going on, I found a nice 9 seater $5 + 50c sitngo game. The second hand dealt me was Blinds are 15/30 so I wanted to raise big but not so big that nobody called so I bet 180. Bearing in mind this was only the 2nd hand, it was difficult to judge whether I would get a caller or not so I decided I would settle for the blinds if nobody called.

Play was very tight and there was a lot of folding (except for the player to my right who shall be named "bllnd stealer". He was trying to steal those blinds from everyone no matter what his position.

Down to 7 and the very next hand I'm dealt and I'm BB. My BB is raised to 150 so I called. Everyone else has folded.
Flop is and Im first to act. I checked and waited to see what the raiser would do and he bet 250. I decided to raise him up to 500 to see what he would do. He flat called which suggested he had an Ace high with perhaps a K or a Q. The next card is and Im getting worried now that he could have a couple of spades in his hand. He had 850 chips left and the pot is 1325. I decided to just bet the pot and put him all in.

Fortunately for me the river was and another player bites the dust.
Many hands along and another player "loses his shirt" with pocket against and we are down to 5.
A few more hands of blind stealing from most of the players and the dealer goes all in - I don't think they were expecting a call but he did get one and everyone else has folded.

You may recall I mentioned the "blind stealer" near the beginning of this game. Well this guy whenever in SB poisiton kept raising all in on my BB. I kept saying bide your time to myself as I knew it would just be a matter of time before I hit a decent hand and would call his all in.
There was lots of posting and folding for quite a few hands. The odd raise here and there but nothing much to speak of.
Then I'm dealt Im small blind and the UTG decided to raise to 600 so I decided this was do or die for me as my stack was dwindling fast so I raised all in and UTG calls leaving them with 110 chips.
UTG shows their hand and its I have to hit an ace or I\'m a gonner.
The flop comes down so Im in the lead for the moment. The turn is 
and the river is so I doubled up and now had 3750. The UTG player was knocked out a few hands down the line when they went all in with Ace high and lost.
Down to 3 players and I'm definitely in the money. The blind stealer is up to his usual tricks and I'm dealt and Im SB. Blinds are 100/200 and Blind stealer raises to 525. I reraised him to 850 and he folded.
A few more hands along and I'm BB once again and Blind stealer has been up to his usual tricks. I'm dealt and I was hoping he would raise me. Needless to say he did - all in for 6k so I just called him.
He showed so Im in the lead for now. The flop comes down , turn is and the river was so I doubled up to 7300.
Biding my time finally paid off.
A few more hands along and he's up to his tricks yet again. I'm dealt 
Im BB and he raised me all in with 1890. I decided to call him and take a chance with my pocket 3s.
He showed his cards so Im ahead for the moment. The flop comes down 
. Turn is and the river is so I finally knocked the blind stealer out and there are two of us left. This gave me a great sense of satisfaction.
The other player was a fairly good player although I did note that he stole a few hands along the way and bet quite high to get people off their cards.
I have 10,030 chips and my opponent has 3470 chips.
Im dealt - a great hand heads up. Im the dealer and so I raised 3x the BB which was currently 240. So the bet was 720 for him to call. He went all in and so I just called him.

I won on a bad beat that's for sure but I'm not going to complain. $22.50 was the payoff but if it had gone the other way, I wouldn't have minded - the game would have just gone on for a little longer. I guess I was just lucky today.

Beh, ho alzato la posta in gioco per un sitngo Turbo da $ 5 a 6 posti su Full Tilt . Non è una grande idea dato che ottieni solo 300 chips e nonostante io abbia raddoppiato alla prima mano con una coppia di "Mago" , Sono arrivato 4° quando il mio fallito contro un "Doyle Brunson" .
Mentre questo gioco era in corso, ho trovato un bel gioco sitngo da $ 5 + 50 c a 9 posti. La lancetta dei secondi che mi è stata distribuita è stata I bui sono 15/30, quindi volevo rilanciare forte ma non così grande che nessuno vedesse, quindi ho puntato 180. Tenendo presente che questa era solo la seconda mano, era difficile giudicare se avrei ricevuto un call o meno, quindi ho deciso di si accontenterebbe dei bui se nessuno chiamasse.

Il gioco è stato molto serrato e ci sono stati molti fold (ad eccezione del giocatore alla mia destra che verrà chiamato "bllnd stealer"). Stava cercando di rubare quei blind a tutti, indipendentemente dalla sua posizione.

Fino a 7 e mi viene distribuita la mano successiva e io sono BB. Il mio BB è stato rilanciato a 150 quindi ho chiamato. Tutti gli altri hanno foldato.
Il flop è e sono il primo ad agire. Ho controllato e aspettato per vedere cosa avrebbe fatto il rilanciato e lui ha puntato 250. Ho deciso di rilanciarlo fino a 500 per vedere cosa avrebbe fatto. Ha semplicemente chiamato, il che suggerisce che avesse un Asso alto con forse un K o un Q. La carta successiva lo è e ora mi preoccupo che possa avere un paio di picche in mano. Aveva 850 chips rimaste e il piatto è 1325. Ho deciso di puntare semplicemente il piatto e metterlo all in.

Fortunatamente per me il fiume c'era e un altro giocatore morde la polvere.
Molte mani avanti e un altro giocatore "perde la maglia" con taschino contro e siamo scesi a 5.
Ancora qualche mano di blind stealing da parte della maggior parte dei giocatori e il dealer va all in: non credo che si aspettassero un call ma ne ha ricevuto uno e tutti gli altri hanno foldato.

Forse ricorderai che ho menzionato il "ladro cieco" all'inizio di questo gioco. Bene, questo ragazzo ogni volta che era in posizione SB continuava a rilanciare all-in sul mio BB. Continuavo a dire a me stesso di prendere il tuo tempo perché sapevo che sarebbe stata solo questione di tempo prima di ottenere una mano decente e chiamare il suo all-in.
Ci sono stati molti post e fold per parecchie mani. Qualche aumento qua e là, ma non c'è molto di cui parlare.
Allora mi sono occupato Sono di piccolo buio e l'UTG ha deciso di rilanciare a 600, quindi ho deciso che per me era una questione di vita o di morte dato che il mio stack stava diminuendo velocemente, quindi ho rilanciato all in e l'UTG ha chiamato lasciandoli con 110 chips.

Arriva il flop quindi per il momento sono in testa. Il turno è e il fiume è così ho raddoppiato e ora avevo 3750. Il giocatore dell'UTG è stato eliminato poche mani dopo quando è andato all in con Asso alto e ha perso.
Sono rimasti solo 3 giocatori e sono decisamente in the money. Il ladro di ciechi ha fatto i suoi soliti trucchi e io ho finito e io sono SB. I bui sono 100/200 e il Blind Stealer rilancia a 525. L'ho rilanciato a 850 e lui ha foldato.
Ancora qualche mano e sono di nuovo BB e Blind Stealer ha fatto i suoi soliti trucchi. Sono a posto e speravo che mi avrebbe cresciuto. Inutile dire che l'ha fatto: all in per 6k quindi l'ho semplicemente chiamato.

Ha mostrato le sue carte quindi per il momento sono in vantaggio. Arriva il flop . Il turno è e il fiume è così alla fine ho messo fuori combattimento il ladro di ciechi e siamo rimasti in due. Questo mi ha dato un grande senso di soddisfazione.
L'altro giocatore era un giocatore abbastanza bravo, anche se ho notato che ha rubato alcune mani lungo il percorso e ha puntato piuttosto alto per togliere le carte alla gente.

Ho vinto con una bad beat, questo è certo, ma non mi lamento. La ricompensa è stata di $22,50, ma se fosse andata diversamente non mi sarebbe dispiaciuto: il gioco sarebbe durato un po' più a lungo. Immagino di essere stato solo fortunato oggi.
