I just played two "double your money" sitngos on sky and won the first one and came second on the second one. Six seaters and top 3 positions double their original stake.
These tourneys arent bad and if you're a reasonable player and only play quality hands you stand a good chance of doubling your dough. There are a lot of fish/bullies on sky so care is needed.
Ho appena giocato a due sitngo "raddoppia i tuoi soldi" su Sky e ho vinto il primo e sono arrivato secondo nel secondo. Sei posti e le prime 3 posizioni raddoppiano la puntata originale.

I had a couple of games last night and one game today.
I played in two 10 seater sitngo's and came nowhere in the first one and managed to win the 2nd game.
There was this player who was stealing the blinds almos every hand and heavy raising particularly on my BB. Well there are only so many times I will tolerate somebody nicking my chips on the BB so I decided to call when I had ace rag.
Flop comes down and I hit 2 pairs - he was first to act and bet 4 x BB so I just doubled his bet and he folded. So now I was getting somewhere with this guy.
Next time I'm BB - he did it again so I called again and managed to hit top pair - I had rubbish. Im first to act so I bet big and he folds.
The game goes on and on and finally its down to him and me. I had A5 and raised heavy - he reraised so I just called. I hit the ace on the flop and just went all in. He called and showed a 95 (he'd hit a pair of 9s on the flop). Nothing else came that helped either of us so I won with my Aces and won the tourney.
It was a great game because everytime this guy showed his hand - he had a brilliant hand in the early stages. But his constant blind stealing made me realise he was indeed just blind stealing.
Watching other players during the early stages of a tourney is so important and I must say it certainly paid off this time round. I sussed this blind stealer out prety early too even with his good hands that he kept showing.
Today - I just played a cheap 6 seater double your money tournament and I must say I've never played so aggressively as I did today.
After a long slow game to the final 3 (the paying places), I managed to knock one guy out although I was not chip leader and this left me and one other player.
The player that was left had folded loads of hands in the early part of the game so I knew he didnt like to play rubbish. However - when your "heads up" Ace rag is a great hand as is any picture. So my aggression came out at this point. Its just so not me. Anyway - any ace any picture and I was raising like crazy and he was calling everything.
I managed to hit even when I had total rubbish - 95 and hit two pairs on the flop! heh heh.
Game goes on and then I got A5 so I raised and he called. Flop comes down A98. He goes all in and I called. he showed a pair of 9s and I won with my aces.
It was a great game which I thoroughly enjoyed purely because of my aggressive play. I'm looking forward to playing aggressively again! ;D ;D ;D

Ho giocato in due sitngo da 10 posti e non sono arrivato da nessuna parte nel primo e sono riuscito a vincere il secondo gioco.
C'era questo giocatore che rubava i bui quasi ad ogni mano e rilanciava pesantemente soprattutto sul mio BB. Beh, ci sono un certo numero di volte in cui tollererei che qualcuno mi rubasse le chips sul BB, quindi ho deciso di chiamare quando avevo un asso straccio.
Il flop è sceso e ho ottenuto 2 coppie: è stato il primo ad agire e ha puntato 4 x BB quindi ho semplicemente raddoppiato la sua puntata e lui ha foldato. Quindi ora stavo andando da qualche parte con questo ragazzo.

Non è arrivato nient'altro che ci abbia aiutato, quindi ho vinto con i miei Assi e ho vinto il torneo.
È stata una partita fantastica perché ogni volta che questo ragazzo mostrava la sua mano, aveva una mano brillante nelle fasi iniziali. Ma il suo costante furto alla cieca mi ha fatto capire che in realtà era solo un furto alla cieca.
Osservare gli altri giocatori durante le prime fasi di un torneo è molto importante e devo dire che questa volta ha sicuramente dato i suoi frutti. Ho scoperto questo ladro cieco abbastanza presto anche con le sue buone mani che continuava a mostrare.
Oggi ho appena giocato un torneo economico double your money a 6 posti e devo dire che non ho mai giocato in modo così aggressivo come oggi.
Dopo una partita lunga e lenta fino agli ultimi 3 (i posti paganti), sono riuscito a eliminare un ragazzo anche se non ero il chip leader e questo ha lasciato me e un altro giocatore.
Il giocatore rimasto aveva passato un sacco di mani nella prima parte del gioco, quindi sapevo che non gli piaceva giocare in modo spazzatura. Tuttavia, quando il tuo asso "heads up" è un'ottima mano, come qualsiasi altra immagine. Quindi la mia aggressività è venuta fuori a questo punto. È solo che non sono io. I played a 2 buck sitngo last night and I thought it would be a quality game. I was so wrong!
There must have been 5 muppets at the table - no word of a lie. One guy kept going all in at the beginning and everyone just kept folding and then I got AA. So I called and he showed his cards - K6 offsuit. Needless to say he lost although he did hit the K on the river. He had some chips left from the blind stealing he had done before and he just kept going all in with them and getting lucky with his rubbish.
He was knocked out eventually and then 3 other players were raising stupid with rubbish. Before I knew it (after lots of folding of total rubbish by me) I had been dealt AA again. So I called and raised a huge raise and won that.
By this time there were only 3 of us left and this meant I was in the money. I was currently 2nd and the guy in the 3rd place was just folding folding folding. The guy in first place was stealing stealing stealing....and then I got AA again. I raised pre flop and the guy that was folding (BB) called and raised. My aces held and then we are down to two.
Im folding hes folding and this goes on for a while and then I had Ace rag so I raised heavy and he raised me all in and I thought may as well. So I called and he had K7. He hit his 7 made the pair and I went out in 2nd place. Nice return though - doubled my dough and turned out to be a good game with the last 3 even though the other 5 were muppets.
Ieri sera ho giocato a un sitngo da 2 dollari e ho pensato che sarebbe stato un gioco di qualità. Mi sbagliavo così tanto!
Devono esserci stati 5 Muppet al tavolo, nessuna bugia. Un ragazzo ha continuato ad andare all in all'inizio e tutti hanno continuato a foldare e poi ho preso AA. Così ho chiamato e lui ha mostrato le sue carte: K6 di semi diversi. Inutile dire che ha perso anche se ha trovato il K al river. Gli erano rimaste alcune chips dopo aver rubato i blind in precedenza e ha continuato ad andare all in e ad avere fortuna con la sua spazzatura.
Alla fine è stato eliminato e poi altri 3 giocatori hanno rilanciato in modo stupido con spazzatura. Prima che me ne rendessi conto (dopo aver piegato un sacco di spazzatura totale da parte mia) mi era stato assegnato di nuovo AA. Così ho chiamato e ho rilanciato con un grosso rilancio e ho vinto.

Well I know its been a while since I posted in this section - not because I havent played a few games but simply because I really just haven't had the time to save the pictures on photobucket and post it on here.
I had a game on Island poker which isnt a bad site but there arent too many people on it. 6 seater sit n go. There was one guy who just kept going in every hand without fail. It was driving me up the wall and I said to him "its just a matter of time" and then "idiot" - I was so incensed by his stupid play. Anyway he went all in (again) and the guy to my left decided to call. He knocked him out which was sweet.
Next hand I had pocket 10s - raised pre flop - and the guy that knocked the "all in" player out decided to call cos he was BB and had plenty of chips.
Here is the piccy of the end result of that hand. What a sweet win that was. Anyway I went on to come 2nd and got my money (and a little bit extra) back.
Beh, so che è passato un po' dall'ultima volta che ho postato in questa sezione, non perché non abbia giocato a qualche gioco, ma semplicemente perché non ho avuto il tempo di salvare le immagini su Photobucket e pubblicarle qui.
Ho giocato a Island Poker, che non è un brutto sito ma non ci sono troppe persone. Siediti e vai a 6 posti. C'era un ragazzo che continuava ad andare avanti in ogni mano senza fallire. Mi stava facendo impazzire e gli ho detto "è solo questione di tempo" e poi "idiota" - ero così infuriato per la sua stupida giocata. Comunque è andato all in (di nuovo) e il ragazzo alla mia sinistra ha deciso di chiamare. Lo ha messo KO, il che è stato dolce.
Nella mano successiva avevo una coppia di 10 - ho rilanciato pre-flop - e il ragazzo che ha eliminato il giocatore "all in" ha deciso di chiamare perché era BB e aveva un sacco di chips.
Ecco il piccy del risultato finale di quella mano. Che dolce vittoria è stata. Comunque sono arrivato 2° e ho recuperato i miei soldi (e un po' di extra).

Had a few cents left on Full Tilt so I thought I would use it up by entering into a 25c +5c satellite to the daily dollar game with a guaranteed $10,000 prize pool (normal buy in is only $1). Anyway I managed to come in the top 2 which meant I won entry to the game.
Unfortunately, the game is at 1.15 a.m. BST (GMT +1). I will certainly stay up for it though as the prize pool is pretty good for a buck buy in (or 25c as in my case). Would be nice to be placed in the money and they pay up to 1080th place ($2.20). Max players is 12,000 which no doubt will whittle down quite quickly if that many register for it. I will let you know how I get on and if anybody fancies joining me its at 20.15 ET.

I've been playing those matrix games on Full Tilt and they are quite entertaining. I think my best result yet is 2 x 1st, a 2nd and a 4th and an overall win for the most points. You get 2 points for knocking somebody out, 2 points for a win and 1 point for staying in longer than other players. Example if you knock somebody out, you get 2 points for knocking them out and everybody still in the game gets 1 point for staying in longer than that player.
The $2 games are the best as people tend to play better however, there are still some fish on these games (of course) and I must say that some of the hands that people go all in with astounds me. An example would be there was something like A K 10 on the table and this guy goes all in for 4k - the other guy in the hand calls and shows A K off. The guy that went all in shows 9 2 off. What in gods name was he thinking. I guess he was trying to steal....badly.
If you havent tried these out and you are an experienced poker player - and can cope with 4 games going on in one go, then you really must try them. Its great fun and whilst the payout isnt huge, the fun factor really is worth it. You have to be on your toes with no distractions...and trying to make a cup of coffee in between hands is virtually impossible.

Devi stare attento e senza distrazioni... e provare a preparare una tazza di caffè tra le mani è praticamente impossibile.

I can totally understand that - at first I thought "oh my - what the hell have I done" but I got into quite quickly. It is a bit crazy if you manage to stay in on all 4 tables and there are only 2-4 people on the table.
No time to sit and be bored though - I dont play very many hands ;D

Lo capisco perfettamente: all'inizio ho pensato "oh mio Dio, che diavolo ho fatto", ma mi sono appassionato abbastanza rapidamente. È un po' pazzesco se riesci a rimanere su tutti e 4 i tavoli e ci sono solo 2-4 persone sul tavolo.
Non c'è tempo per sedersi e annoiarsi però: non gioco molte mani ;D

Well its been a while since I posted in here and I just played one of those 180 seater sit and go satellites on Full Tilt Poker - buy in was 20 poker points.
I played really tight and had some great hands along the way. Managed to make it to the final table and played even tighter. I kept getting pocket 8s which is a bit of mediocre hand but I thought well it beats Ace high so I raised big (blinds were 600/300) - think it was 3 x big blind.
One player called another player went all in and he had enough chips to knock me out. So I thought do or die and called. The other player called and he was all in too. They both had AK (one was suited). Flop comes down 4d9h9d and my first thought was - here comes the flush but fortunately for me neither of them had a diamond. Turn comes 4 and the river was an 8 so I trebled up that hand. Very nice too!
Game goes on and there are 4 of us left. Top 4 places pay (bottom 3 pay points and first prize is a seat to another satelite). I had AK and decided this was the hand to go in on. So I raised and one guy calls. Flop comes down Ah 4h J? . So I went for broke and threw all my chips in the pot (I was first to act) - guy calls with Kh Qh. I just knew that he would get it cos thats the very nature of this site. And he hit his flush on the turn with a 7h. River - cant even remember what it was cos I knew I was history.
Came 4th and won 20 points back. What a waste of time but it was good fun.

Anche molto bello!

Sapevo solo che l'avrebbe capito perché questa è la natura stessa di questo sito. E ha centrato il colore al turn con un 7h. River, non riesco nemmeno a ricordare cosa fosse perché sapevo di essere storia.
È arrivato quarto e ha vinto 20 punti. Che perdita di tempo ma è stato molto divertente.

I played a couple of games today - both were "double your money" games and from the play (which was really quality for a change) you would think we were playing for $1000 first prize. It was in fact a 25p buyin for a win of 50p max.
I have found these double your money games brings out the best in poker players so if you fancy a quality game, double your money is the place to start.
They were quite lengthy games but I did manage to double up in both of them so that was a bit of a result. Its amazing how quickly you can "suss out" a player just by watching how they play.
There was one player who called every hand and min bet after the flop. When I finally got a hand I thought I would just let her bet into me...which she did.
After the river she decided she wasnt going to get rid of me and decided to check. I bet half the pot and she folded. So easy! I threw a few bluffs in too and that worked well. She eventually managed to double up too but through sheer luck rather than great poker play.
It was indeed fun though and I highly recommend these "double your money" games.

Ho giocato ad un paio di giochi oggi: entrambi erano giochi "raddoppia i tuoi soldi" e dal gioco (che era davvero di qualità, tanto per cambiare) penseresti che stessimo giocando per il primo premio di $ 1000. In effetti si trattava di un buyin di 25 pence per una vincita massima di 50 pence.
Ho scoperto che questi giochi raddoppiano i tuoi soldi tirano fuori il meglio dai giocatori di poker, quindi se desideri un gioco di qualità, raddoppiare i tuoi soldi è il punto di partenza.
Sono state partite piuttosto lunghe ma sono riuscito a raddoppiare in entrambe, quindi questo è stato un po' un risultato. È incredibile quanto velocemente puoi "scoprire" un giocatore semplicemente guardando come gioca.

Dopo il river ha deciso che non si sarebbe sbarazzata di me e ha deciso di fare check. Ho puntato metà del piatto e lei ha foldato. Così facile! Ho anche lanciato qualche bluff e ha funzionato bene. Alla fine anche lei è riuscita a raddoppiare, ma per pura fortuna piuttosto che per un'ottima giocata di poker.
È stato davvero divertente e consiglio vivamente questi giochi "raddoppia i tuoi soldi".

I use to play sit and go, 10 per table, double your money. Say entry fee is $5 then the last 5 players at the table win $10. I did like these and usually did double my money. However, for me it was not enough of a win. (Greedy I know.) I liked the lower entry tourneys with larger payouts. Those usually didn't work too well so no poker for me in a long time.

I made some time to play some poker but wish I hadn't bothered. I've been playing some of those matrix tourneys.
I must say that the fish are getting worse and luckier! I've seen some rubbish in poker but I think it has definitely hit an all time low. It got so bad, I told one player they were "FOS" ...full of S***. The joyous part of this story is that I knocked them out despite the fact that I was way down on the chip front.
This person kept raising and I kept folding and then I started wondering how come they get so many great hands and all I get is rubbish. So I decided to (eventually) call with a reasonable QK. K rag rag came on the flop and this fishy FOS person bet high so I just called. Then my Q came on the turn and they bet high again so i just went all in and they called.....it was so poor they just had a high card. So I won a load of his/her chips and proceeded to tell them "I told you that you were full of it". Sadly they didnt reply however, I think they went on "tilt" and went all in next hand. Happily I had AK and hit my aces and sent em flying off the table.
Despite some bad luck and poor play by opponents, that was quite a bright moment for me.

Ho preso un po' di tempo per giocare a poker ma vorrei non essermi preso la briga. Ho giocato ad alcuni di quei tornei a matrice.
Devo dire che i pesci stanno peggiorando e sono più fortunati! Ho visto un po' di spazzatura nel poker, ma penso che abbia sicuramente toccato il minimo storico. È andata così male che ho detto a un giocatore che era "FOS"...pieno di merda. La parte più bella di questa storia è che li ho eliminati nonostante fossi molto indietro in termini di chip.
Questa persona continuava a rilanciare e io continuavo a passare e poi ho iniziato a chiedermi come mai ottengono così tante mani fantastiche e tutto ciò che ottengo è spazzatura. Così ho deciso (alla fine) di chiamare con un QK ragionevole. K rag rag è arrivato al flop e questo sospetto FOS ha puntato alto quindi ho semplicemente chiamato. Poi è arrivata la mia Q al turn e loro hanno puntato di nuovo alto quindi sono andato all in e loro hanno chiamato...era così scarso che avevano solo una carta alta. Così ho vinto un sacco delle sue fiches e ho continuato a dire loro "Te l'avevo detto che ne eri pieno". Purtroppo però non hanno risposto, penso che siano andati in "tilt" e siano andati all in nella mano successiva. Fortunatamente avevo AK e ho preso i miei assi facendoli volare via dal tavolo.
Nonostante un po' di sfortuna e il cattivo gioco degli avversari, è stato un momento piuttosto positivo per me.

I entered the poker million freerolls on FT and I've managed to get through to the final satellite (3rd game) where the buy in is 5000 FT points. The only problem is I need to win to get to the final. Tall order but I shall give it a good go.
It was touch and go if I would get through at one point.....I was chip leader most of the tourney and then I got KK and thought I would just go all in and steal the blinds. Sadly someone called and had AA. I did hit trips but so did they. I lost a huge amount of my chipstack.
The game went on and the blinds were getting bigger and bigger as was the ante. I was on the bubble and BB and all in. My cards....73 off suit. It doesn't get worse than that. Anyway, there are 3 players in the hand and the flop comes down 775. Would you "adam and eve" it. I won 15k and then played the next hand too and doubled up to 30k so I was safe and made it through.
Just goes to show how changing fortunes never cease to amaze. I really thought I was a gonner.

Sono entrato nel poker million freerolls su FT e sono riuscito ad arrivare al satellite finale (3° gioco) dove il buy-in è di 5000 punti FT. L’unico problema è che devo vincere per arrivare in finale. Ordine elevato ma farò un buon tentativo.
Se fossi riuscito a passare a un certo punto era tutto incerto... Sono stato chip leader per gran parte del torneo e poi ho preso KK e ho pensato che sarei andato all in e avrei rubato i bui. Purtroppo qualcuno ha chiamato e aveva AA. Ho fatto dei viaggi, ma anche loro. Ho perso un'enorme quantità di chipstack.
Il gioco è continuato e i bui sono diventati sempre più grandi, così come l'ante. Ero in bolla, BB e all in. Le mie carte...73 non dello stesso seme. Non c'è niente di peggio di così. Ad ogni modo, ci sono 3 giocatori nella mano e il flop scende 775. Vorresti "Adamo ed Eva". Ho vinto 15.000 e poi ho giocato anche la mano successiva e ho raddoppiato fino a 30.000, quindi ero al sicuro e ce l'ho fatta.
Ciò dimostra semplicemente come il cambiamento delle fortune non smetta mai di stupire. Pensavo davvero di essere andato.

I just cracked aces on the first hand. The guy with the aces didnt raise much so I called with my QK suited. Flop was wonderful and the turn was better. I'm still playing the game but here is a piccy.

I managed to come 3rd. Had 66 and decided to try and steal the blinds so I went all in.
Guy calls with AK and needless to say he hit his K on the flop and the A on the turn. Happy with 3rd place though.

I managed to get a quick game in today.
6 seater $2 sitngo. The first 2 players were knocked out fairly quickly by one guy who seemed to think he owned the table.
I played tight and was dumping most hands. I got dealt KK so I raised to 7x the BB and the guy who knocked the earlier players called me. Flop came down K95 and 2 of the cards were clubs. Rather than let someone in cheaply to hit the flush, I just went all in and the guy that called my raise called too. He showed 99 in his hand so we both had trips and neither of us had a club which was a relief. The only card he could win with was the other 9. Turn came - Q and river was a 4. So that was a nice easy double up for me.
He said "FY" which I took to be totally rude...and I replied "yeah thanks for that". I thought Im not getting into a slanging match so I left it at that.
The game goes on and on and on. I knocked out one of the other players with a straight flush. He was betting into me and I had 910hearts. Flop was JKhearts 9c. He bet I just flat called. Turn comes Qhearts - he bet, I flat called. River - can't even remember what it was..I was so excited about my straight flush. He went all in, I called and he showed a pair of kings and he was out of the game.
This left 3 of us and after a few hands the guy was out. This left the one that said "FY" and me.
I took the lead, then he took the lead and this went on for a while. I was then dealt Q9 suited and I just flat called. He checked being the big blind. Flop comes down Q25 so I bet and he flat called. Next card was a 5 so I just went all in and he hesitated for a long time. Eventually at the last second he called. He showed KK and that was the end of me. River was nothing useful.
It was a good game but just a big shame that I didnt beat the rude guy. Still doubled my money and that was ok by me.

Ha mostrato 99 in mano quindi entrambi abbiamo fatto un tris e nessuno di noi aveva un club, il che è stato un sollievo. L'unica carta con cui poteva vincere era l'altro 9. È arrivato il turn - Q e il river era un 4. Quindi per me è stato un bel raddoppio facile.
Ha detto "FY" che ho considerato totalmente scortese... e ho risposto "sì, grazie per quello". Pensavo che non sarei entrato in uno scontro gergale, quindi ho lasciato le cose come stanno.
Il gioco continua e continua. Ho eliminato uno degli altri giocatori con una scala colore. Stava scommettendo su di me e io avevo 910 cuori. Il flop è stato JKhearts 9c. Io ho preso l'iniziativa, poi è stato lui a prendere l'iniziativa e la cosa è andata avanti per un po'. Poi mi è stato servito Q9 dello stesso seme e ho semplicemente chiamato. Ha fatto check essendo il big blind. Il flop scende Q25 quindi ho puntato e lui ha semplicemente chiamato. La carta successiva era un 5 quindi sono andato all in e lui ha esitato a lungo. Alla fine, all'ultimo secondo, ha chiamato. Ha mostrato KK e quella è stata la mia fine. Il fiume non era niente di utile.
È stata una bella partita, ma è un vero peccato non aver battuto il ragazzo maleducato. Ho comunque raddoppiato i miei soldi e per me andava bene.

Just played a sitngo at Poker Time (trying to get the points up) and unbelievably I actually won.
I was dumping everything that was rubbish and chucking even the "reasonable" hands. One person had virtually posted and folded the whole game to ensure a paying position. I knocked one out and someone else knocked another one out which left 3 of us - the bluffer - the poster and folder and me.
They both kept stealing my blinds and I was just waiting for the right hand to come along. And boy did it come along.
I had pocket Q's. Bluffer raises and poster/folder guy and myself just flat call. Flop comes 592. I was first to act so I bet over the pot and the bluffer calls me. Next card is a J so I though I would just go all in as there was the makings of a straight on the table. Bluffer calls me and shows JA. River helps neither of us and I win the hand which was a nice stack builder and leaving the bluffer with not too many chips.
Bluffer continues to steal blinds and betting ridiculously trying to build his stack back up. I think he was down to about 700 and he got it up to about 1500 or thereabouts.
The game goes on and sweet joy - pocket AA for me.
I was the big blind too which is a marvellous position to be in - bluffer min raises, "post and folder" calls so I raised 4xBB which made it 750/800 or thereabouts. Bluffer calls and the other guy folds.
Flop comes down 792. I went all in. Bluffer calls. There was me thinking he would have 79 off or something stupid. He had 44. Neither the turn nor the river were of any use to him and he was out.
So this just left me and the poster/folder who was no longer posting and folding. He kept going all in every hand to steal the blinds from me and I just bided my time.
I played a couple of hands and won them and won back the chip leadership.
Im big blind and I have pocket 5s. Other guy goes all in so I just called. He showed A9 suited (diamonds).
Flop comes down 442 (two were diamonds) giving him the flush draw. I thought, here we go again. Turn is a 3. I thought please dont give me my 5 and no diamonds please. Fortunately for me it was an 8 or something like that.
I won the game and a few bucks so I can play a few more.
It was all the more satisfying because my luck on that fishy site has been totally dire.
I'll see how it goes from here.

Ho vinto la partita e qualche dollaro, quindi posso giocarne ancora un po'.
È stato tanto più soddisfacente perché la mia fortuna su quel sito sospetto è stata totalmente disastrosa.
Vedrò come va da qui.

Every time I tried to play on PKR my computer blue screened. Anwyay - I got me a snazzy new laptop and I managed to download PKR and voila - it worked.
Now this site is one of the bad RNG sites as we all know and I thought...well maybe its changed. Well it hasn't.
I sat down at a play money table first to see how things were. It was quite a good game and most players were actually playing properly...except one. This fish was chucking his chips in on any hand and he kept winning with his rubbish.
Anyway - I was dealt KK and there were 3 of us left. I raised big and the fish called. Flop comes down JQA and knowing how he was playing, I thought I have to be in the lead here so I just went all in and he called. He showed his hand 57 off suit so he had nothing.
Turn comes - 5
River comes - 7
Ye gods - knocked out by a fish who had 7 high after the flop. Nothing has changed on there but I did enjoy the game. I also played a big freeroll which you can buy into with your points that you earned on the site. It was a pretty good game and I think I placed in the 100's but no cash win. That was a bad beat too.
I don't know who penned the phrase but I think its so true...
"If you can't beat em - join em".
I may have to change my tactics!

Ogni volta che provavo a giocare su PKR il mio computer presentava una schermata blu. Comunque, mi sono procurato un nuovo elegante laptop e sono riuscito a scaricare PKR e voilà: ha funzionato.
Ora, questo sito è uno dei cattivi siti RNG come tutti sappiamo e ho pensato... beh, forse è cambiato. Beh, non è così.
Prima mi sono seduto a un tavolo con soldi finti per vedere come stavano le cose. È stata una partita abbastanza buona e la maggior parte dei giocatori ha effettivamente giocato correttamente... tranne uno. Questo pesce puntava le sue chips in qualsiasi mano e continuava a vincere con le sue carte spazzatura.
Comunque, mi è stato assegnato KK e eravamo rimasti in 3. Ho rilanciato forte e il fish ha chiamato. Al flop scende JQA e sapendo come stava giocando, ho pensato che dovevo essere in testa, quindi sono andato all in e lui ha chiamato. Ha mostrato la sua mano 57 di seme diverso quindi non aveva nulla.
Arriva il turno - 5
Arriva il fiume - 7
Oh Dei, eliminato da un fish che aveva 7 high dopo il flop. Non è cambiato nulla lì, ma mi è piaciuto il gioco. Ho anche giocato a un grande freeroll a cui puoi partecipare con i punti guadagnati sul sito. E' stata una bella partita e penso di aver piazzato a 100 ma senza vincere soldi. Anche quella è stata una brutta sconfitta.
Non so chi abbia scritto la frase ma penso che sia verissima...
"Se non puoi batterli, unisciti a loro".
Forse dovrò cambiare tattica!

I played a 6 seater sitngo at PKR - my favourite site to play on because of the amazing graphics.
I didnt play too many hands and the players were being knocked out one by one with their stupid fishy calls - gut shot straight draws, flush draws etc.
I had only played and won about 3 hands and there were 2 of us left. So I was definitely in the money.
We played a couple of hands and the other player kept raising my BB to steal. As a poker player, there are only so many times that I will take it and then I fight back. I was dealt QK and from the state of the hands the other guy had been playing, I thought it was a great hand heads up and decided to steal the big blind from him so I min raised. He raised me. So I raised him back. He raised me again and I thought, thats it, I'm all in.
So I chucked all my chips in the pot, he calls and sods law - he had KK.
Flop comes down 9J2. Turn 7.
I'm thinking the only card that can save me is the 10.
River 10. OMG - I don't often get poker RNG's to work in my favour but being the underdog with the worst hand, I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
This left him with only a few chips. I was dealt KJ suited. So I put him all in and he called. I think he had something like 35 off. I hit my K on the river and finished him off.
Now bearing in mind I've not been able to play on PKR for quite some time because my computer blue screened everytime I loaded it up (since bought a laptop and its all ok on there), when I won this game I'm standing up and all this paper stuff is falling down and my arms are up in the air like "the champion". It was pretty awesome and I want some more of that.

Mi è stato servito QK e dallo stato delle mani giocate dall'altro ragazzo, ho pensato che fosse un'ottima mano heads up e ho deciso di rubargli il big blind così ho rilanciato. Mi ha cresciuto. Quindi l'ho resuscitato. Mi ha rilanciato di nuovo e ho pensato, ecco, ci sto.
Così ho messo tutte le mie chips nel piatto, lui ha chiamato e ha mandato a puttane la legge: aveva KK.
Il flop scende 9J2. Girare 7.
Penso che l'unica carta che può salvarmi sia il 10.
River 10. Oh mio Dio, non capita spesso che gli RNG del poker funzionino a mio favore, ma essendo lo sfavorito con la mano peggiore, immagino che non dovrei essere sorpreso.
Questo gli ha lasciato solo poche chips. Mi è stato assegnato KJ adatto. Così gli ho messo all-in e lui ha chiamato. Penso che avesse qualcosa come 35 di sconto. Ho preso il mio K al river e l'ho finito.
Ora, tenendo presente che non sono stato in grado di giocare su PKR per un po' di tempo perché sul mio computer veniva visualizzata una schermata blu ogni volta che lo caricavo (da quando ho comprato un laptop e lì è tutto ok), quando ho vinto questo gioco sono rimasto in piedi su e tutta questa carta cade e le mie braccia sono alzate in aria come "il campione". È stato davvero fantastico e ne voglio ancora un po'.

hi blue, good to see ya winning, but i cannot take to the site, i played my freebies, (tournys by in chips e.t.c) didnt do to bad, and i didnt get many badbeats, its just seems to play really slow, and i struggle to play on 2 tables at once. i collected $120 from my $50 1st deposit. at least thats 1 poker site i got the better off!! ;)

I managed to squeeze in a game last night - just a $3 sitngo but it was a turbo game. I'm not very good at turbo games because I try to play only good hands. So I'm posting and folding the tons of rubbish that is "my hand" and I'm thinking, how much longer before I get something.
By this time a couple of people have been knocked out and finally, I get a reasonable hand. The blinds are 150/75 and I've got pocket queens AND I'm big blind. There were a couple of callers and when it came to me, I raised to 450 and everyone folded. Makes you wonder what sort of rubbish they are calling with.
Anyway, next hand I have AA. "Sods law" is what I thought - its like waiting for a bus, you hang around forever and then suddenly two come at once! This hand I'm small blind and the guy who is BB is a bit of a calling station. One person called and another raised to 750. I raised to 2250 and everyone else folds (even the calling station) but not the raiser. He decides he's going all in so I called him with the few chips I had left.
Before the flop comes down - he has typed "I hope you have AK". Eh - what's that all about then. Anyway he shows 99 and I show my AA.
Fortunately, they held although the cards were all around his and I thought he was going to get a straight.
The rest of the game was pretty boring and I was just trying to place as my stack dwindled with the large small and big blinds. There were 4 of us left and this one guy had 5 chips less than me and the BB put him all in. The guy who was SB called and the guy that was all in lost to a pair of 6s. Phew!
Next hand, I was all in and I can't remember what I had but it was rubbish. I managed to place 3rd and won $6 which was very pleasing.
Next time, I'll try not to join these turbo games as my style of play doesn't suit them at all. Nonetheless, it was a good result.

Sono riuscito a partecipare a una partita ieri sera: solo un sitngo da $ 3 ma era un gioco turbo. Non sono molto bravo nei giochi turbo perché cerco di giocare solo mani buone. Quindi sto pubblicando e piegando le tonnellate di spazzatura che sono "la mia mano" e penso, quanto ci vorrà ancora prima di ottenere qualcosa.
A questo punto un paio di persone sono state eliminate e finalmente ottengo una mano ragionevole. I bui sono 150/75 e ho una coppia di donne E sono grande buio. Ci sono stati un paio di caller e quando è toccato a me, ho rilanciato a 450 e tutti hanno foldato. Ti viene da chiedersi con che tipo di spazzatura stanno chiamando.
Comunque, la prossima mano ho AA. "Legge di merda" è quello che ho pensato: è come aspettare un autobus, rimani in giro per sempre e poi all'improvviso ne arrivano due contemporaneamente! In questa mano sono piccolo buio e il ragazzo che è BB è un po' una stazione di chiamata. Una persona ha chiamato e un'altra ha rilanciato a 750. Io ho rilanciato a 2250 e tutti gli altri hanno foldato (anche la postazione chiamante) ma non il rilanciato. Lui ha deciso di andare all in così l'ho chiamato con le poche chips che mi erano rimaste.
Prima che scenda il flop, ha digitato "Spero che tu abbia AK". Eh, allora di cosa si tratta? Comunque lui mostra 99 e io mostro il mio AA.
Fortunatamente hanno tenuto nonostante le carte fossero tutte intorno a lui e ho pensato che avrebbe realizzato una scala.
Il resto del gioco è stato piuttosto noioso e stavo solo cercando di piazzare mentre il mio stack diminuiva con i grandi bui piccoli e grandi. Eravamo rimasti in 4 e questo ragazzo aveva 5 chips in meno di me e il BB lo ha messo all-in. Il ragazzo che era SB ha chiamato e quello che era all-in ha perso contro una coppia di 6. Uff!
La mano successiva ero all in e non riesco a ricordare cosa avevo, ma era spazzatura. Sono riuscito a piazzarmi 3° e ho vinto $6, il che è stato molto piacevole.
La prossima volta cercherò di non partecipare a questi giochi turbo perché il mio stile di gioco non si adatta affatto a loro. Ciononostante è stato un buon risultato.

Blue, i can play the machine poker like it was a natural, but live poker..(named poker like 7-card stud, or texas hold-um) i am completely horrible at, as well as online poker, here in Vegas i get to see alot of World Series and Series Poker events, they are amazing to watch, the twirl of the chips in their fingers amazes me, the seriousness in their faces along with their own animations are almost hypnotizing to watch..
Love the game but i could never play it like you do!
Blu, posso giocare al poker automatico come se fosse un poker naturale, ma dal vivo... (chiamato poker come 7-card stud o texas hold-um) sono assolutamente pessimo, così come nel poker online, qui a Las Vegas. vedere molti eventi delle World Series e delle Series Poker, sono fantastici da guardare, il volteggiare delle fiches tra le loro dita mi stupisce, la serietà sui loro volti insieme alle loro stesse animazioni sono quasi ipnotizzanti da guardare..
Adoro il gioco ma non potrei mai giocarci come fai tu!

I've been playing poker since I was a kid and online poker for many, many years. I started off at one site in the play chips and when my balance kept going up, I thought it was time to deposit. I withdrew $500 on that one deposit after many many small sitngos and tournaments. I just played as often as I could - still do when I can.
I love the game and hate the fish and just the thought of playing an online game gets me all fired up and ready for action.
