Is anybody else out there experiencing long delays in Bitcoin deposits/withdrawals, etc? I have been waiting 4 days now for a sizable dep. that is still awaiting confirmation(s).

Normally the places I deal with accelerate the transaction, so I don't generally have this issue. Even with the Blockchain wallet I add a little extra fee versus using the recommended fee. Lately I"ve been doing a 0.0008 fee and that seems to get the transaction to push relatively easy.
If you PM me the transaction ID, I might be able to help push it along if you'll let me. I have a few tools in my BTC stash that can help accelerate your transaction as long as it meets certain requirements.

If your looking to purchase BitCoin, coinbase, paxful, or LocalBitCoin would be a good start for buying.
Then as for wallet, I would recommned not using Blockchain.info for now. Mainly because there's been a string of issues with them not sending the proper fee to get a transaction to go. Especially during the week when trading is high.
BitPay has a good Andriod and iPhone wallet that i can recommend, even the BitGo wallet that Zuga recommended is a good one as well.
Yet if you plan on using Bit Coin for gambling, I would suggest if your buying from Coinbase. Use Coinbase for the purchase, then transfer the coin to BitPay or BitGo wallet before sending it to your casino of choice. For the main reason that somehow Coinbase is able to target what they think are wallets being used for online gaming. So basically buy from Coinbase, send to your alternative wallet, then to the coin. Then when withdrawing send from the casino to your alternative wallet, then back to Coinbase.

Yeah, I think I agree with Cheetahwind, Blockchain is acting kind of strange right now. Just went back to Cubits which I haven't used in quite a while but the few transactions I made with them went through pretty quick. I think the fees (for the miners) might be a little higher. Just be aware, as an American, however, our transactions are limited somewhat.
