Today, live on their website Renault has unveiled its new RS16 car, painted in black-and-yellow livery, but livery could change for Melbourne. :)

Toro Rosso have just passed the mandatory crash tests ahead of the start of pre-season testing.
Their new car will have longer wheelbase and will be powered by Ferrari engines. Verstappen said yesterday that he expects to be faster between eight tents and a second. :)

I haven't been following Formula 1 closely for a while now, and I used to watch every single race and qualifying session in the 1990s. It got way too technological and less spectacular, but I guess I'll try to watch a race this season and see how it feels.
È da un po' che non seguo più da vicino la Formula 1 e negli anni '90 guardavo ogni singola gara e ogni sessione di qualifica. È diventato troppo tecnologico e meno spettacolare, ma immagino che proverò a guardare una gara in questa stagione e vedere come ci si sente.

Thats exactly what people dont like, too much technology is involved. Senna's and Schumacher's time was simple, pure racing speed, but this season is expected for Ferrari to catch up Mercedes. So i recommend you to watch at least one race, it should be a great battle between them :)
Questo è esattamente ciò che alla gente non piace, è coinvolta troppa tecnologia. He will race for Manor racing in 2016. :)

Yesterday, Red Bull Racing revealed their livery and kit for 2016. Matte black looks good :)
New car will be revealed on February 22nd.
Manor Racing has confirmed that their second driver is Rio Haryanto, 23-year-old Indonesian driver.
Scuderia Ferrari will reveal their 2016 title challenger, livery and kit tomorow at 14hCET, live on their website.

Currently Vettel is on top of the timesheets at Barcelona, first day of winter testing. This looks promising for Ferrari and for the tifosi, also good job for Toro Rosso. Mclaren showed us an improvent in reliability, but the gap is still huge.
However, these results shouldnt be taken for granted, because there are no information on who was pushing hard, who was driving on full fuel tank, or empty one, etc...

Attualmente Vettel è in cima alla classifica a Barcellona, primo giorno di test invernali. Sembra promettente per la Ferrari e per i tifosi, buon lavoro anche per la Toro Rosso . La McLaren ci ha mostrato un miglioramento in termini di affidabilità, ma il divario è ancora enorme.
Questi risultati però non sono scontati, perché non ci sono informazioni su chi spingeva forte, chi guidava con il serbatoio pieno, oppure vuoto, ecc...

This season I expect that Ferrari is going to have a better pace, or at least the same as Mercedes.Other teams are just to far behind. Two great drivers against each other, it's going to be a great battle. :)

In questa stagione mi aspetto che la Ferrari abbia un ritmo migliore, o almeno lo stesso della Mercedes. Le altre squadre sono troppo indietro. Due grandi piloti uno contro l'altro, sarà una grande battaglia. :)

On day 2 winter testing at Barcelona, Vettel is still on top of the timesheet.
First time today drivers were testing new Pirelli Ultra soft tyre with purple line on it.
Earlier today, Renault had some problems on the engine with white smoke coming out.
Five minutes before the end of the day, unpleasant thing happend to Ferrari.Vettel suddenly stopped the car causing a red flag.There are still no information what caused him to stop.

In order to make things more interesting, qualifycation system is changing for 2016.
All F1 teams agreed with elimination style qualifying.
Q1
1. will last for 16 minutes
2. After 7 minutes, the slowest driver is going to be eliminated
3. Slowest driver will be eliminated every 90 seconds until the end of time
4. 7 drivers is going to be eliminated, 15 are progressing to Q2.
Q2
1. will last for 15 minutes
2. After 6 minutes, slowest driver is going to be eliminated
3. Slowest driver will be eliminated every 90 seconds until the end of time
4. 7 drivers are going to be eliminated, 8 are progressing to Q3.
Q3
1. will last for 14 minutes
2. After 5 minutes, slowest driver is going to be eliminated
3. Slowest driver is going to be eliminated every 90 seconds until the end of time
4. 2 drivers are left in final which will last 90 seconds.
They are changing the one thing that was ok in Formula 1, this is no problem solution in my opinion.

Now this is going to be really interesting.... First off- everybody will have to drive on their best driving game, because you can't just sit there the whole minutes and go out in the end to do your lap and hope for the best :)
Ora, questo sarà davvero interessante.... Prima di tutto, tutti dovranno guidare nel loro miglior gioco di guida, perché non puoi semplicemente sederti lì per tutti i minuti e uscire alla fine per fare il tuo giro e sperare in il migliore :)

Some noticable moments:
Force India was quickest today, Jenson Button's Mclaren broke down in the middle of the day, as well as Magnussen's Renault. Kimi Raikonen's Ferrari had some problems with the fueling system and he went to the track after three hours delay. Mercedes once again have done some serious mileage, they look bulletproof.

La Force India è stata la più veloce oggi, la Mclaren di Jenson Button ha avuto un guasto a metà giornata, così come la Renault di Magnussen. La Ferrari di Kimi Raikonen ha avuto qualche problema con il sistema di alimentazione ed è sceso in pista con tre ore di ritardo. Yes, but as I saw, it was nice for them to finish on top, even though that was on softer tyre, they seemed happy :D

On the last day of first winter testing at Barcelona another Ferrari driver made on top of the timesheet.
Manor Racing, Renault and Haas Racing had some problems today, but they were are able to recover later on and continue testing. McLaren on the other hand had some serious problems with water leaks, and they did only 3 laps. They can't catch a break.
Second part of winter testing starts on Tuesday.
Day 4 at Barcelona, Timesheet at lunch break:

As they finished the first part of the winter testing,there are some analysis. Mercedes as a team and a power unit suplier looks very reliable. They covered a distance like 10 Grand Prix.
They really out-run all opponents.
Terminata la prima parte dei test invernali, vengono effettuate alcune analisi. La Mercedes come squadra e come fornitore di propulsori sembra molto affidabile. Hanno percorso una distanza pari a 10 Gran Premi.

Because of some new timing software issues, new elimination qualifying system will not be used until Spanish GP.
I dont know why, It doesnt seem hard to me, just measuring lap times and droping out the slowest one :/

Second winter testing at Barcelona, Day 1:
Mercedes totally dominted today, they were again team with most laps driven, and with some qualifying practise laps they raised the bar. Ferrari again had problems, now some gearbox isues.
If we look in the picture bellow, Vettel still has the fastest lap time, but he drove on Ultrasoft tyre compound, and Nico Rosberg set his fastest time on Soft tires. Difference between these tyre compounds is about 1.5 seconds in favor of Ultrasoft. When Rosberg put those Ultrasoft he is going to be about 1.3 seconds faster.
It's starting to look like we're going to have a boring season again.

Se guardiamo la foto qui sotto, Vettel ha ancora il tempo sul giro più veloce, ma ha guidato con gomme Ultrasoft, e Nico Rosberg ha fatto segnare il suo miglior tempo con gomme Soft. La differenza tra queste mescole di pneumatici è di circa 1,5 secondi a favore di Ultrasoft. Quando Rosberg metterà gli Ultrasoft sarà circa 1,3 secondi più veloce.
Comincia a sembrare che avremo di nuovo una stagione noiosa.

Watching the tests- Ferrari's are faster on the mediums than the mercs, but looking on the big picture mercedes will keep dominating this year. More interesting will be- how good will HAAS come in :D

I think Haas will end up in front of Sauber,Manor and Renault, somewhere near McLaren.
Sauber didn't made much inovations for this year, Manor is having problems, and they dont have experienced drivers like Haas,and Renault just doesn't have that power.

Ferrari will take some wins from Mecedes, but to be a real contender for the championship, sadly, but no :/
Sauber haven't done anything big this year, so they will be at the same place were they finished last year.... Manor is not a team for F1, yea the new guy from Indonesia said that there are many engineers but, the team can't come up even close to the rest of the field... They could put Hamilton, Vettel in the car and still they would be around 20th place :D
Mclaren will be in the battle with Sauber and Renault, but will come up short of them in the end.. The Honda engine is still in developing as it looks.
The bookies at the moment say: Mercedes, Ferrari, Red Bull, McLaren, Williams,(here ends, after their opinion, some reality to get the championship) Renault, Torro Rosso, Force India, Haas, Sauber, Manor..
But i would not put Mclaren so high...

La Sauber non ha fatto nulla di grosso quest'anno, quindi si ritroverà nello stesso posto in cui aveva finito l'anno scorso.... Manor non è un team per la F1, sì, il nuovo ragazzo dall'Indonesia ha detto che ci sono molti ingegneri ma, il la squadra non riesce ad avvicinarsi nemmeno al resto del gruppo... Potrebbero mettere Hamilton e Vettel in macchina e comunque sarebbero intorno al 20° posto :D
La Mclaren sarà in battaglia con Sauber e Renault, ma alla fine non sarà all'altezza di loro. Il motore Honda è ancora in fase di sviluppo a quanto pare.
I bookmaker del momento dicono: Mercedes, Ferrari, Red Bull, McLaren, Williams,(qui finiscono, secondo loro, alcune realtà per vincere il campionato) Renault, Torro Rosso, Force India, Haas, Sauber, Manor..
Ma non metterei la Mclaren così in alto...

I totally agree with you on that, but not with the bookies.
I think that Force India and Toro Rosso will be battling for 4th or 5th place. Mclaren that high, hm, i dont think so. Red Bull also, it's true that they have a great chassis but i'm not sure about that Tag Heuer branded Renault engine it doesnt have what it takes.
Sono totalmente d'accordo con te su questo, ma non con i bookmaker.
Penso che Force India e Toro Rosso saranno in lotta per il 4° o il 5° posto. Mclaren così alto, hm, non credo. Anche la Red Bull, è vero che ha un ottimo telaio, ma non sono sicuro che il motore Renault marchiato Tag Heuer non abbia quello che serve.

RB and Force India not this year....
FI looked promising last year at the end, but the beginning screwed the season total, so there's a chance that it will happen this year.
RB, on the other hand, hasn't got an engine.. during the test day's most of the time they are even behind Renault, which technically +- is using the same engine as they... Off course they maybe are testing for something else, but still...
Sadly that there are no bets in sportsbook's at the moment, which i know, where you can bet who will be over the other in final standings... Only individual and constructor standings :/

FI sembrava promettente l'anno scorso alla fine, ma l'inizio ha rovinato il totale della stagione, quindi c'è una possibilità che ciò accada quest'anno.
La RB, d'altra parte, non ha un motore... durante la giornata di test per la maggior parte del tempo sono addirittura dietro alla Renault, che tecnicamente +- usa il loro stesso motore... Ovviamente forse stanno testando per qualcos'altro, ma comunque...
Purtroppo al momento non ci sono scommesse nelle scommesse sportive, che so, dove puoi scommettere su chi sarà sopra l'altro nella classifica finale... Solo classifiche individuali e costruttori :/

-They are going to have a strong season, for sure. Yesterday and today they've done some serious mileage,310 laps to bre precise.
Also there are some speculations about qualifications,it looks like elimination system is going to be introduced in Melbourne, but only for Q1 and Q2,while Q3 remains standard,like last year.

Inoltre ci sono alcune speculazioni sulle qualifiche, sembra che a Melbourne verrà introdotto un sistema di eliminazione, ma solo per Q1 e Q2, mentre la Q3 rimane standard, come l'anno scorso.

Yes, he said that a couple days ago, but yesterday the offiicials had a meeting and probably the system will be introduced in Melbourne. Given that he changes his mind every day, i dont believe him either :D

He actually said that visibilty is good, but when something hit that carbon-fiber Halo thing,it will break into pieces right to his head :D
The important thing is that he is the fastest man today. He was faster on softs than Rosberg using the same tyre, maybe Ferrari was underestimated. There is a very little diference between softs,supersofts and ultrasofts to everybody,because of low track temperature. Maybe Ferrari will be able to challenge them after all.

L'importante è che oggi sia l'uomo più veloce. Con le soft era più veloce di Rosberg con la stessa gomma, forse la Ferrari è stata sottovalutata. Per tutti la differenza tra soft, supersoft e ultrasoft è minima, a causa della bassa temperatura della pista. Forse la Ferrari sarà in grado di sfidarli, dopo tutto.

That's another thing, the little things will hurt the driver more... And in the rain there could be problems too, as the rain hits the halo and the water changes it's direction
About the time's, it's good, but the temperature was low so the tyres were not optimal. At least it looks good, but then the driving goes to different venues i think Mercedes still will have the upper hand :(

About the pace, i've read today, that they had very similar pace to Mercedes today, on mediums. Most laps for Vettel today, 142. They definitely made an improvent, let's hope that is going to be enough. :)

Per quanto riguarda il ritmo, ho letto oggi che avevano un ritmo molto simile a quello della Mercedes oggi, con le medie. Il maggior numero di giri per Vettel oggi, 142. Sicuramente hanno fatto un miglioramento, speriamo che sia sufficiente. :)

Remember that Massa was seriously injured in Hungaroring in 2009 when that spring hit him in the head.
F1 is a dangerous sport, if they introduce all the safety things they want to, then the drivers salaries should be reduced :D

La F1 è uno sport pericoloso, se introducono tutte le misure di sicurezza che vogliono, allora gli stipendi dei piloti dovrebbero essere ridotti :D
Per quanto riguarda la Mercedes, lo odio, il loro ritmo è sempre un segreto. Proprio quando inizio a nutrire le mie speranze, hanno un asso nella manica :D

That isn't Formula 1, probably indy series. Nevertheless, at least you can watch races in your own country. With Serbia, that's not the case. Enjoy :)

FIA announced today that for 2016 season, there will be limited communication between teams and drivers, some kind of radio ban.
Their intensions are to make drivers heroes again. For most things drivers will make decisions.
There will not be informations about speed comparisons, racing lines, braking points etc.
They will receive informations only about red or yellow flag, about some damage on the car or if there is a wet track, some oil, debris.
Renault announced today that they will unveil their final livery on March 16. Probably a yellow,black and white combination.
La FIA ha annunciato oggi che per la stagione 2016 ci sarà una comunicazione limitata tra team e piloti, una sorta di divieto radiofonico.
La loro intenzione è quella di rendere nuovamente gli autisti degli eroi. Per la maggior parte delle cose saranno i conducenti a prendere decisioni.
Non ci saranno informazioni su confronti di velocità, traiettorie di gara, punti di frenata ecc.
Riceveranno informazioni solo sulla bandiera rossa o gialla, su qualche danno sulla vettura o se c'è la pista bagnata, un po' d'olio, detriti.
La Renault ha annunciato oggi che svelerà la sua livrea definitiva il 16 marzo. Probabilmente una combinazione gialla, bianca e nera.

Yup, with two world champions behind the wheel, with all experience, they have better chances than Sauber, Renault and Manor, but not much more than Haas, because american team also have pretty experienced drivers. :)
