I've not heard anything about this. However, after doing some research, I think you could well be "partly" right. Affiliates have been advised that they will no longer be affiliated as of June 1st. However, having said that, it also states that players will not be affected and everything will remain open to players. Looks like they are just tossing aside all the affiliates who did all the hard work getting sign ups. Typical!
I would certainly not be depositing there though with bad delays on cheque (check) payments and so on.

Thanks for the info, I think the title of the topic was a bit strong "closing the door" as spoken here, there is no official information Carbon Poker will close, if a moderator want to change, feel free.
On the other hand there are rumors that Carbon Poker is not in a good state of finances due to delayed payments, I sincerely hope that Carbon Poker review this decision with respect to affiliates and to continue working, would be a shame to close this poker room.

Thats a shame. Carbon has been around for a long time. Tossing the affiliates is a shady move for sure, but sadly the affiliates get treated like dirt from many poker rooms and casinos.
They do all the grunt work and make them millions, yet get the shaft time and time again.
