I don't have cable where I get ABC Family, but I do have Netflix that shows some of their series, and I started to watch Baby Daddy. Now, for normal ABC channel, I find it funny. Though when I think of ABC Family, I think of programs that all family members can watch, I think good wholesome television. Watching the 4 season (binge watcher here) this show promotes in the obvious, having children outside of marriage, sex without being serious with a partner, to drinking regularly (all through the day for one of the characters). Now, as I said, funny for the ABC channel, but when you slap Family on the station, is this really appropriate for what you think of a family channel to watch with all ages of children? I know this stuff goes on, its life, but do we really got to expose our kids so early to such ideas and say "Everyones doing it, so you dont have to try to aim for a (for lack of better word) "high" moral compass? My parents as teenagers did things, though they sure didnt admit thouse things to me until I was at least 16. Is really right for us to just air all to our kids before they have hit maturity? Food for thought.
