Slots Junkie brought up a point about hatred that got me thinking. Hatred is sparked by so many different issues:
Nationality
Religion
Gender
Age
Disabilities
Political
Sexual Preference
.....and the list goes on and on. Hate crimes are commited....people suffer at the hands of hate. But where does it come from? Is it something that is learned at an early age? Were we taught to hate certain groups? Or do people some how feel threatened?
There was just a hate crime in Chicago last week....3 teenagers....one 18 set to go to college made a wrong turn one nite. The gangs felt threatened with them on their turf. They rear ended their car til it rolled over killing the 18 yr old honor student ready to start her life away at college.
I ask why and where does it come from?

C'è stato un crimine d'odio a Chicago la settimana scorsa... 3 adolescenti... uno di 18 anni che doveva andare al college ha sbagliato strada una notte. Le bande si sentivano minacciate da loro sul loro territorio. Hanno tamponato la loro macchina finché non si è ribaltata uccidendo la studentessa d'onore di 18 anni pronta a iniziare la sua vita al college.
Chiedo perché e da dove viene?

Well Lips, I think it's part home lessons, News and life experiences.
I mean when was the last time you heard a news report which said "Several people got together and had a good time and all were welcome and a good time had by all"?
No, you don't except if it's a slow news day. Usually it's "A woman was raped, a child was shot or a person with a bright future was killed needlessly tonight"
The news "Dirty Laundry" sells..Good news doesn't (Except for the Bible which is still the No 1 seller of books) and so we're "Fixated" on What was the crime? who was hurt and most of all, WHO did it?
Then comes the hatred.
Heck I spent 2 years in Missouri and even there some people commented I didn't sound like a "Yankee" and so they trusted me a "Bit" more. But you see, even after 100 years since the war between the states, the hate still runs through people regarding that day long ago.
A example of long term hatred was when a older Irish lady struck a British soldier and said "Shame on what you did in (Old Irish City, forgot name)!" The incident she referred to, occurred in the 1600's!!Beh Lips, penso che sia in parte lezioni a casa, notizie ed esperienze di vita.
Voglio dire, quando è stata l'ultima volta che hai sentito un notiziario che diceva: "Molte persone si sono riunite e si sono divertite e tutti erano i benvenuti e tutti si sono divertiti"?
No, a meno che non sia una giornata con poche notizie. Di solito è "Stanotte una donna è stata violentata, un bambino è stato colpito da armi da fuoco o una persona con un futuro brillante è stata uccisa inutilmente stasera"
La notizia "La biancheria sporca" vende... Le buone notizie no (ad eccezione della Bibbia che è ancora il venditore numero 1 di libri) e quindi siamo "fissati" su quale è stato il crimine? chi è rimasto ferito e soprattutto CHI è stato?
Poi arriva l'odio.
Cavolo, ho trascorso 2 anni nel Missouri e anche lì alcune persone hanno commentato che non suonavo come uno "Yankee" e quindi si sono fidati di me un po' di più. Ma vedete, anche dopo 100 anni dalla guerra tra gli stati, l'odio attraversa ancora le persone riguardo a quel giorno di tanto tempo fa.
Un esempio di odio a lungo termine è stato quando un'anziana signora irlandese ha colpito un soldato britannico e ha detto "Vergogna per quello che hai fatto a (Old Irish City, ho dimenticato il nome)!" L'incidente a cui si riferiva è avvenuto nel 1600!! -

I believe it starts at home at a very young age and it keeps cycling through the generations until someone breaks the cycle :-\
Credo che tutto inizi a casa in tenera età e continui a scorrere attraverso le generazioni finché qualcuno non interrompe il ciclo :-\

I gotta agree with SLOT JUKNIE, most of it starts at home. People that are raised by inbreds (lol) that have no clue about life!Sono d'accordo con SLOT JUKNIE, la maggior parte inizia a casa. Persone allevate da consanguinei (lol) che non hanno idea della vita! -

I agree it is learned at home. But i also think it is peer pressure growing up. In order to "fit in" with the click...you had to play the part. Bigger, better and tougher than any other group.
Looking back....i'm glad now that i beat to my own drummer.
LipsSono d'accordo che si impara a casa. Ma penso anche che sia la pressione dei pari in crescita. Per "adattarsi" al clic...dovevi recitare la parte. Più grande, migliore e più duro di qualsiasi altro gruppo.
Guardando indietro... sono felice ora di aver suonato con il mio batterista.
