there is a very nasty virus out there right now that pretends to be google saying there is a problem with your browser and you need to install the update it presents DONT DO IT!!! it also sends emails claiming you have won something, are getting something free or is the usps or other mail service to inform you of a failed package delivery...they dont email you they leave a paper on your door..this virus encrypts all your files and then sends you instructions on how to pay them $500 in bitcoin to get them back..it also doubles the ransom if you dont pay within the specified time...it also changes your settings and services and will not let you install anything...i have been trying to recover my bf comp for 5 days now i was going to just reinstall but thats not working i dont know if that is virus related tho....dont open any emails you dont know where they came from all you have to do is open it and youve got it...dont download ANYTHING telling you you have a comp prob and its gonna fix it for you...make sure you have good antivirus running all the time although from what ive read it slides thru alot of them....there is NO FIX for this and even if you pay the $ you still might not get your files back..this is the newest thing in viruses called ransomware...i hope nobody is unlucky enough to be targeted by these pricks and if you are thinking you can break thru the encryption think again there are pros that cant do it..its nasty stuff be careful everyone

I had to pay to have my PC fixed once after something like that. They had to wipe the system clean and re download windows. It was a very nasty virus indeed. Thanks for the heads up .
Ho dovuto pagare per far riparare il mio PC una volta dopo qualcosa del genere. Hanno dovuto pulire il sistema e scaricare nuovamente Windows. Era davvero un virus molto brutto. Grazie per il testa a testa .

it's enough not to install any kind of crap apps, ignore all spam emails and have good antivirus (Microsoft Security Essentials is good enough)

è sufficiente non installare nessun tipo di app schifosa, ignorare tutte le email di spam e avere un buon antivirus (Microsoft Security Essentials è abbastanza buono)
