I've never spent quite that much but I definintely love dollar stores. I can see myself spending twice that if I had the money to do it though lol.

I do shop at the Dollar store occasionally. I think we all do. I must say I find that the quality of the merchandise is, less than perfect.
You get what you pay for you know? When your only paying a buck for something you don't get much.
Like I remember buying laundry detergent there once when I was on college and broke as a joke. This stuff was as thin as water, and I think I would of gotten the same results if I hadn't used any soap at all.
Now I buy things like Greeting cards, and wrapping paper there. I leave the important things like Laundry soap to the Brand names.

Adesso compro lì cose come biglietti d'auguri e carta da regalo. Lascio le cose importanti come il sapone da bucato ai marchi.

Alot of craft items too
And yes cheap soaps n stuff i didn't go for, but they
did have alot of name brand items for a BUCK!
Lots of candy and gum, alot of different types of
stationary.. i went crazy

I think there are a few different dollar stores, and some really are a lot worse than others.
There is one downtown from me that I only go to JUST for buying soap and sponges...they are all name brands. The stuff is a little more than a buck, but a LOT cheaper than the grocery store. (and they have the best cheese curls anywhere)

Penso che ci siano alcuni negozi diversi, e alcuni sono davvero molto peggiori di altri.
Ce n'è uno in centro dove vado SOLO per comprare sapone e spugne... sono tutti di marca. La roba costa poco più di un dollaro, ma MOLTO più economica rispetto al negozio di alimentari. (e hanno i migliori riccioli di formaggio ovunque)

the little plastic chairs with the decal on the seat..
and the ping pong paddle ball, and the punch balls!!Non mi piacevano i loro giocattoli... un modo per me economico... TRANNE

they are only good for quick stuff..maalox, aspirin, batteries, soap..stuff you can't screw up. (and of course the cheese curls)
hey, if they have those paddle balls..that is a big plus, and bubbles..and i got a cool squirt gun there too. scare my dad with it almost every night...it was worth all .99 centsvanno bene solo per cose veloci... maalox, aspirina, batterie, sapone... cose che non puoi rovinare. (e ovviamente i riccioli di formaggio)
ehi, se hanno quelle palline da paddle... è un grande vantaggio, e le bolle... e lì ho anche una bella pistola ad acqua. spaventa mio padre quasi ogni notte... valeva tutti i 0,99 centesimi -

its the BEST, because it looks like a little robot. i have my dad up for dinner almost every night, and one of us pick it up and puts it near his face and he just jumps out of his seat...its like my nightly entertainment

It's way cool to have a cart full of stuff and it only cost 20 bucks! I stock up on the batteries too.........some really great bargains!
