Did anyone catch the Strawberry Moon, also known as the Honey Moon, just after midnight?
The last time this occurred on Friday the 13th was back in October of 2000 and will not happen again on Friday the 13th until October 2049. It's also the first time this has occurred in June since 1919.
The "strawberry" name comes from the fact that it's strawberry season, and Algonquin Native American tribes knew to harvest based on the Strawberry Moon.
If you missed it you may still be able to catch a glimpse of it tonight. I missed it so I'll be looking out for the moon tonight.
