Hi Members!
Labor Day is the unofficial ending to summer. The last BBQ.......no more wearing white clothes....kids are back in school.....Tons of buses and more traffic. Time to roll up the volley ball net. The life guards are gone at the lake. The pools are drained.
And it's one big hoorah for summers end! I hope everyone enjoyed there summer as much as i did.
For the Labor Day weekend i will head out for the land casino on Saturday and have a bang up BBQ on Sunday! If your out and about beware of the Road Blocks there will be plenty. And please drive safe.

Il Labor Day segna la fine non ufficiale dell’estate. L'ultimo barbecue... niente più vestiti bianchi... i bambini sono tornati a scuola... tonnellate di autobus e più traffico. È ora di arrotolare la rete da pallavolo. I bagnini se ne sono andati al lago. Le piscine sono prosciugate.
Ed è un grande evviva la fine dell'estate! Spero che tutti si siano divertiti l'estate tanto quanto me.
Per il fine settimana del Labor Day sabato andrò al casinò terrestre e domenica farò un fantastico barbecue! Se sei in giro, fai attenzione ai blocchi stradali, ce ne saranno molti. E per favore guida con prudenza.

Yay! I get to drink..Because I can't drive unless I can swipe a car (Not a chance of that!) and so I shall decide soon hard liquor or beer...
Wouldn't that be funny. Get on the bus with 5-30 packs of beer and start passing them around!! Well, that's one way to make friends!!

I myself will be heading North to visit friends who have a cottage in the town I grew up in. We will have lots of fun talking about old times , and I imagine the drinks will flow. Fires at night on the lake. Fishing during the day. What could be better.
It is indeed the last big get together there they have planned. The cottage will be readied for winter by the time we all leave. Shutters put on, and batten down the hatches. Winter in Michigan are long and hard.
I wish all my friends here at LCB who will be celebrating the holiday weekend the best. Most of all, be safe.

Io stesso andrò a nord per visitare gli amici che hanno un cottage nella città in cui sono cresciuto. Ci divertiremo molto parlando dei vecchi tempi , e immagino che le bevande scorreranno. Fuochi notturni sul lago. Pesca durante il giorno. Cosa potrebbe esserci di meglio.
È davvero l'ultimo grande incontro che hanno programmato lì. Il cottage sarà pronto per l'inverno quando partiremo tutti. Si chiudono le persiane e si chiudono i portelli. Gli inverni nel Michigan sono lunghi e duri.
Auguro il meglio a tutti i miei amici qui a LCB che celebreranno il fine settimana festivo. Soprattutto, sii sicuro.

I too am heading North. I haven't decided yet on Maine or Vermont. Vermont is actually my favorite. There's a bluegrass festival I might just kickback there for the week end, or go to Acadia National Park in Maine. Either way..just want to spend some time outdoors before the summer goes away. Acadia National Park has some Ginormous wave right now that just ate up some people, right from where they were standing. Its dangerous..I love danger, so I might be leaning toward this one

Anch'io sto andando verso nord. Non ho ancora deciso se Maine o Vermont. Il Vermont è in realtà il mio preferito. C'è un festival bluegrass in cui potrei semplicemente rilassarmi lì per il fine settimana, o andare all'Acadia National Park nel Maine. In ogni caso... voglio solo passare un po' di tempo all'aria aperta prima che l'estate finisca. L'Acadia National Park ha un'onda gigantesca in questo momento che ha appena divorato alcune persone, proprio da dove si trovavano. È pericoloso... adoro il pericolo, quindi potrei propendere per questo -

Per me....lavoro in giardino e grigliata. Ma faccio grigliate tutto l'anno, quindi non porrò fine a questa cosa -

Nothing like grilling in January with temps below zero all bundled up...snow falling on your utensils! Then sit down and eat alittle taste of summer! That has to be the best tasting BBQ ever!

Non c'è niente di meglio che grigliare a gennaio con temperature sotto lo zero e tutto ammassato...la neve cade sui tuoi utensili! Allora siediti e mangia un assaggio dell'estate! Deve essere il miglior barbecue dal sapore mai visto!
