Hey guys,
I know some of you might think it is a little too early to talk about Halloween but not for me!!!! Halloween happens to be one of my favorite holidays!!! Plus this Halloween my son turns 18! Wooooo hooooo!!!
Every year we have a party, but I want to do something different just not sure what. I kinda miss the parties when he was younger and all the kids would dress up. Sooooooo I was thinking of making it a costume party but I don't think his friends would dress up.

You may be surprised as to just how much they may be willing to dress up!! I think dressing up at Halloween is ageless. I love Halloween too........maybe have alittle incentive to dress up.
I had a Halloween party once.......and told everyone to really disguise themselves. Some didn't even speak til the votes were cast. Everyone chose a person they were stumped on. The peeps were then lined up....and it was guess time.
Some of these costumes were really unique. The winner that was the most disguised one a prize! Since it's a younger group and not quite legal to drink...booze wouldn't be a prize!!!
Since it's your son's b'day perhaps you can sweeten the pot......winner will have a ticket to a concert or event with your son. That way you have killed two birds with one stone.
The b'day boy gets a ticket and so does his buddy that wins!!

Potresti rimanere sorpreso da quanto potrebbero essere disposti a travestirsi!! Penso che travestirsi ad Halloween non abbia età. Anch'io adoro Halloween... forse ho un piccolo incentivo a travestirmi.
Una volta ho organizzato una festa di Halloween... e ho detto a tutti di travestirsi davvero. Alcuni non hanno nemmeno parlato finché non sono stati espressi i voti. Tutti hanno scelto una persona su cui erano perplessi. I pip furono quindi messi in fila... ed era il momento di indovinare.
Alcuni di questi costumi erano davvero unici. Il vincitore più mascherato riceverà un premio! Dato che si tratta di un gruppo più giovane e non è del tutto legale bere... l'alcol non sarebbe un premio!!!
Dato che è il compleanno di tuo figlio, forse puoi addolcire il piatto... il vincitore avrà un biglietto per un concerto o un evento con tuo figlio. In questo modo hai preso due piccioni con una fava.
Il ragazzo del compleanno riceve un biglietto e così anche il suo amico che vince!!

I think that would be an acceptable thing. A "Themed" party would permit others to come as their fav actors or creatures/role play.
Penso che sarebbe una cosa accettabile. Una festa "a tema" consentirebbe ad altri di partecipare come attori o creature/giochi di ruolo preferiti.
