Hi Everyone!
I have been thinking about you all and thought I would let you know why I have not been on here much lately. The good news first! I got a teaching job that I really like! It takes a lot of my time. That is a very good thing! The second thing is about my mom. Me and my sisters decided that she should go back up North because the doctors down here did not treat her right. Talk about malpractice! She is staying with my sister and she is taking care of her. She is being treated at Mass General Hospital which is one of the best diagnostic and treatment hospitals in the world. Her uterine cancer is not the issue now. It is her thyroid cancer which has traveled to her lungs. My alcoholic niece is still living here and I am still trying to point her in the right direction! I will try and continue to stay in touch. Love to all!!! Debbie

Takes a very good person to extend the their help for someone fighting an addiction. Lots of prayers will be going out from your LCB family.

It can be tough, things sometimes just can't be, but we do someway some how crawl out and into a better way of life, through our determinations and perserverences, and our sound decisions, i'm glad to hear your mom is getting better treatment, the best is what you can do for her and you are giving her that.
Your niece, what you are doing is a wonderful thing, it does take a good, strong person to help another overcome an addiction, but debbie if it does seem to get worse and she is not going your directions she might need more then what you can do for her, addicted/addiction can be so overwheming..
Our prayers are out for you, hope, faith and belief will keep you strong

Può essere difficile, a volte le cose semplicemente non possono essere, ma in qualche modo riusciamo a strisciare fuori e ad entrare in uno stile di vita migliore, attraverso la nostra determinazione, perseveranza e le nostre sane decisioni, sono felice di sapere che tua madre sta migliorando trattamento migliore, il meglio è quello che puoi fare per lei e glielo stai dando.
Tua nipote, quello che stai facendo è una cosa meravigliosa, ci vuole una persona buona e forte per aiutare un'altra persona a superare una dipendenza, ma Debbie se sembra peggiorare e non segue le tue indicazioni potrebbe aver bisogno di più di quello che tu può fare per lei, la dipendenza/la dipendenza può essere così opprimente..
Le nostre preghiere sono per te, la speranza, la fede e la convinzione ti manterranno forte
