I have to ask a "Would you Rather" question. It's only fair since i asked a "What if" question.
If you had to choose one.... Would you Rather win $10,000 on a slot machine or get a $10,000 check from your boss (hypothetically of course, not many bosses would do that) what would give you the bigger thrill?
I would say i'd rather hit the 10k on a slot machine. The thrill of that moment could not compare to a boss handing me a check. Although it would be nice to be appreciated by my boss...i still would take the jack pot if given the choice!!

There is no question I would rather win the $10000 than have it handed to me by my boss. The excitment of winning is hard to beat in many situations, not just gambling. Winning the jackpot even though it happens rarely is much more likely than my boss handing me a $1000 check. lol

ofc it would be nice to feel the apreciation if u got it from your boss, but id choose the slot win anyday
spesso sarebbe bello sentire l'apprezzamento se lo ricevessi dal tuo capo, ma sceglierei la vincita della slot ogni giorno

Plus getting kudos from players around me. Ive given 20 bucks to people in my row before when i won big even the ones who were jealous sour pusses...LMAO

That reminds me of a time I was in Reno playing 3 card poker the guy next to me just kept winning with pretty good size bets, unlike my 5 dollar bets. hehe We were having fun, then he got 3 of a kind on a $50 bet! (pair plus also) I screamed so loud you woulda thought I won. I got up to leave and he placed my bet for me and gave me $100 bucks to stay, saying I was his good luck charm.
My ex-husband was getting mad, but it was all in fun!

Questo mi ricorda una volta in cui ero a Reno e giocavo a poker a 3 carte, il ragazzo accanto a me continuava a vincere con scommesse di dimensioni piuttosto buone, a differenza delle mie scommesse da 5 dollari. hehe Ci stavamo divertendo, poi ha vinto un tris con una scommessa di $50! (coppia più anche) Ho urlato così forte che avresti pensato che avessi vinto. Mi sono alzato per andarmene e lui ha scommesso per me e mi ha dato $ 100 dollari per restare, dicendo che ero il suo portafortuna. Il mio ex marito si stava arrabbiando, ma era tutto divertente!
