Good day everyone, I am still relatively new to gambling. I have been practicing online, but my main goal now is to try playing in land based casinos ... in part, because I suspect that the Random Number Generator (RNG) programs are not "truly" random.
To give a quick example, in flipping a quarter it would not be difficult to get a few heads or tails in a row, but it should be rare to get 15 in a row. It often seems when I get online the first many hands of a game (say blackjack) have a huge number of wins or losses in a row and then it settles down to rougly equal wins and losses. I have also read about RNG programs and that they show they are random across millions of plays. This does leave wiggle room for short bursts of play where high numbers could win awhile and low numbers could win awhile but average out to "random" ... but which seems unlikely in real play with real cards or wheels or dice.
I am curious, can anyone who has played a lot both online and in land based casinos say whetehr or not these long streaks are indeed more common online? Thanks in advance!
