Ich habe heute einen Anruf erhalten und offensichtlich versucht jemand mit der Datenbank eines mittlerweile geschlossenen Casinos dessen Spieler zu betrügen.
Anfang des Jahres hat eine Firma namens "egaming lab" ein paar Casinos eröffnet, die es heute schon nicht mehr gibt.Ich denken Betvuvu war das bekannteste und ist dem ein oder anderen ein Begriff. Weitere Casinos der Gruppe waren

Alle diese Websites sind nicht mehr erreichbar, die gesamte Gruppe scheint nicht mehr aktiv zu sein.
Dennoch habe ich heute einen Anruf erhalten. Ein offenbar indischer Callcenter-Mitarbeiter sagte mir, dass egaming lab von der MGA mit einer Geldstrafe belegt wurde und nun 400 Euro an alle Spieler zahlen muss, die jemals bei betvuvu eingezahlt haben. Der Kerl am Telefon hatte alle meine persönlichen Daten und wollte die Rückerstattung mit mir gemeinsam durchgehen. Ich hab mich zum Schein darauf eingelassen und er wies mich an, ein Programm herunterzuladen, das ihm zugriff auf meinen Computer ermöglichen würde. An der Stelle habe ich dann abgebrochen.
Ich habe dann eine E-Mail an meine Adresse erhalten, die ich nur für Registrierungen in Online-Casinos verwende. Darin stand, dass man mich später erneut anrufen würde. Wer auch immer das war, scheint also Zugriff auf die Spielerdatenbank zu haben. Ich bin mir ziemlich sicher, dass dies ein Betrug ist, da die E-Mail-Adresse nicht von der offiziellen Domain, sondern von einer einfachen gmail-Adresse kam (egaminglab@gmail.com). Wenn wirklich jemand Geld auf mein Konto zurückzahlen wollte, könnte man das ja einfach tun und bräuchte keinen Zugriff auf meinen Computer. (Ganz zu schweigen von der Tatsache, dass ich nie 400 Euro in das Casino eingezahlt habe).
Hat sonst noch jemand diesen Anruf heute erhalten?
Passt auf jeden Fall immer auf eure Daten auf und bleibt skeptisch!

However, I received a call today. An apparently Indian call center employee told me that egaming lab was fined by the MGA and now has to pay 400 euros to all players who have ever deposited with betvuvu. The guy on the phone had all of my personal information and wanted to go through the refund with me. I pretended to go along with it and he instructed me to download a program that would give him access to my computer. I stopped at that point.
I then received an email to my address, which I only use for online casino registrations. It said they would call me again later. So whoever that was seems to have access to the player database. I'm pretty sure this is a scam because the email address didn't come from the official domain but from a simple gmail address (egaminglab@gmail.com). If someone really wanted to put money back into my account, they could do it easily and wouldn't need access to my computer. (Not to mention the fact that I never deposited 400 euros into the casino).
Did anyone else get this call today?
