I see a "MODIFY" button - it hasn't been removed (but I am a mod and that may be why) however, has anyone else noticed the modify button is missing?

I removed the modify button for regular members, as it has been abused a lot.
I am temporary giving this permission back, until we find a plugin that will allow modifying for restricted period of time.

Ho rimosso il pulsante di modifica per i membri regolari, poiché se ne è abusato molto.
Restituirò temporaneamente questa autorizzazione, finché non troveremo un plug-in che consentirà la modifica per un periodo di tempo limitato.

Possiamo rimuovere i loro collegamenti e loro potranno poi rientrare e pubblicare i collegamenti nello stesso post, il che significa che difficilmente verrà esaminato nuovamente da un mod... a meno che, ovviamente, non venga portato all'attenzione dei moderatori.
Questo è un esempio e non dirò altro per ovvi motivi.

Hi guys,
I can assure you that spammers are serious problem. We are well established and one of the top gambling portals, and thats why we get hit by spammers on daily basis.
We are taking every means necessary to prevent those attacks, and very few of them manage to hit the forums.
And when they do we are fast to deal with them, as you can already tell.
They all get banned, their posts either deleted or modified, but some of them still manage to slip thru cracks.
There is no 100% prevention against such low life individuals, but we do what ever we need to in order to protect our members and LCB.
Ofc our members are helping us a lot by reporting such spam posts, and we are very thankful for that.

Posso assicurarti che gli spammer sono un problema serio. Siamo ben consolidati e uno dei migliori portali di gioco d'azzardo, ed è per questo che veniamo colpiti quotidianamente dagli spammer.
Stiamo adottando tutti i mezzi necessari per prevenire tali attacchi e pochissimi di essi riescono a colpire i forum.
E quando lo fanno, siamo veloci nel gestirli, come puoi già vedere.
Vengono tutti bannati, i loro post cancellati o modificati, ma alcuni di loro riescono comunque a sfuggire.
Non esiste una prevenzione al 100% contro individui di vita così bassa, ma facciamo tutto il necessario per proteggere i nostri membri e LCB.
Naturalmente i nostri membri ci stanno aiutando molto segnalando tali post di spam e ne siamo molto grati.

Hi Dirk,
As Zuga says - they are banned but sometimes it takes a little longer to get them banned and hence they would have the opportunity to change their post back with their orignal spammy link. Admin have to sleep sometimes!

Come dice Zuga, sono bannati ma a volte ci vuole un po' più di tempo per bannarli e quindi avrebbero l'opportunità di modificare nuovamente il loro post con il loro link spam originale. Gli amministratori devono dormire qualche volta!

I HATE spam. I worked as an Online Computer Tech for a while, and offered a few sites to chase down Corporations or websites that did alot of spamming. I told them that I would let "the spammers" know that their site was by no means to be held responsible for what I said, but it needs to be stopped.
!ODIO lo spam. Per un po' ho lavorato come tecnico informatico online e ho offerto alcuni siti per scovare aziende o siti Web che facevano molto spam. Ho detto loro che avrei fatto sapere agli "spammer" che il loro sito non è assolutamente responsabile di ciò che ho detto, ma che deve essere fermato.

It can be abused by modifying and reposting a link, or the same spam message that was removed.
