Thank you for your response. I understand the point you are making regarding the Terms and Conditions and the responsibility on the player to comply with them.
However, I feel there is an important part of my complaint that has not been fully considered.
My concern is not simply that a duplicate-account rule existed. My concern is how and when Zizobet chose to apply that rule in my particular circumstances.
I have evidence which I believe shows that Zizobet was already aware of the duplicate-account issue before I claimed and used the bonus.
If Zizobet already knew about the duplicate account at that point, why was I still allowed to use the bonus? They could have restricted the account, prevented me from claiming the promotion, or at the very least warned me that I was not eligible before I played.
Instead, I had verified my account, the account remained active, and I was allowed to claim and use the promotion without being given any warning or explanation that I was prohibited from doing so.
There are also important timing issues which I would like LCB to consider. My withdrawal remained pending for nearly a day before the matter was acted upon. I was then asked to complete further KYC at approximately 16:46, and my balance of £778.29 was removed at approximately 16:55 — around nine minutes later.
I appreciate that the existence of the duplicate account is relevant. I am not asking LCB to ignore Zizobet’s Terms and Conditions. I am asking whether it is fair to apply those terms retrospectively in circumstances where the operator allegedly knew about the issue beforehand but nevertheless allowed me to participate.
I believe the evidence I have provided shows that this is not simply a case of Zizobet discovering a duplicate account after I had won. The timing is fundamentally different if Zizobet already knew beforehand and had the opportunity to prevent the bonus from being used.
I would therefore be grateful if LCB could specifically consider:
• When Zizobet first became aware of the duplicate account.
• What action they took after becoming aware of it.
• Why my account remained active and eligible for the promotion.
• Why I was not warned or prevented from using the bonus.
• Why the withdrawal was allowed to remain pending for nearly a day.
• Why the £778.29 was removed approximately nine minutes after the further KYC request.
I am not trying to avoid responsibility for the Terms and Conditions. I am asking for the circumstances and the operator’s conduct to be considered alongside the existence of the rule.
I would really appreciate LCB taking another look at this specific aspect, particularly because I have evidence supporting the timing of when Zizobet knew about the duplicate account.
I remain willing to resolve this matter directly and reasonably, including through a goodwill resolution if Zizobet is prepared to consider one.
