yes a list works on some sites for private buy in tourneys but its very difficult
to get poker sites to set up a freeroll with a list of players names they just arent
interested unless you are putting the money up

Really bites that so many take advantage of a good thing.
my suggestion is with the list need screen name on the pokersite and if you win you forfit winnings. But then again if you get a non true member on there and he knocks out a true member then its not gonna work..
maybe have registration 1 hr prior no late and then that gives time to go through the player list to see who should not be there and remove them from the tourney...
Honesty doesnt work anymore in the day and age...

il mio suggerimento è con l'elenco che richiede un nome visualizzato sul sito di poker e se vinci perdi le vincite. Ma poi di nuovo, se trovi un membro non vero e lui mette fuori combattimento un membro vero, allora non funzionerà.
magari registrarsi 1 ora prima, non in ritardo, così da avere il tempo di scorrere l'elenco dei giocatori per vedere chi non dovrebbe essere presente e rimuoverli dal torneo...
L'onestà non funziona più al giorno d'oggi...

The late reg. is when it seemed to happen. There was a good 10 minutes for the password to get out.
Maybe if tilt could close it right when the tourney starts that would solve alot of it.

Well I just knocked out. Had JJ - I raised all in preflop and the guy shows AK. K came on the flop and that was that. 53rd position.

Wow i'm surprised at how many russians turned up. No offense to russians of course, but it's clearly obvious that someone on here is leaking the password to a russian community and actually PREPPED them to get ready to receive it within 30 minutes prior to it starting.
Doing a search on our previous tournament's password clearly gives an indication of whereabouts it's being leaked:
It is a shame but I think Soda's correct in saying we will have to go back to manually submitting names for future tournaments. My apologies for the true members of LCB/LPB but I'll make sure to set something up with blueday for you guys soon.

Wow, sono sorpreso da quanti russi sono arrivati. Senza offesa per i russi ovviamente, ma è chiaramente ovvio che qualcuno qui sta divulgando la password a una comunità russa e in realtà li ha PREPARATI a prepararsi a riceverla entro 30 minuti prima dell'inizio.
Facendo una ricerca sulla password del nostro torneo precedente si ottiene chiaramente un'indicazione del luogo in cui è stata trapelata:
È un peccato, ma penso che Soda abbia ragione nel dire che dovremo tornare a inviare manualmente i nomi per i tornei futuri. Mi scuso con i veri membri di LCB/LPB ma mi assicurerò di organizzare presto qualcosa con i blueday per voi ragazzi.

I'm waiting to hear from John@FT re any other ways to register. You never know, he might get back to me within the week lol.
And LIps - yeah I have to go back to the old way sadly if there is no other way. There weren't so many interested in the pre-registration route and I had a lot of trouble with that too (not on our side of things either). Hopefully I will hear from John soon and there will be another way (fingers crossed).

Hey Shelli - He came back to me and the other option is called "Web registration".
"Yes, in order for the qualifiers for your web registrationtournament to register the list of player id's will need to be uploaded inthe system so that only these players will be able to register for thisweb registration tournament"
Seems I still have to send the names but you can just click a link and you are registered.
Back to the old way again.
