It's been a few years since my last trip to Las vegas and honestly I'm shocked at the unbelievable increase that Las vegas casino hotels have had, I traveled for 10 consecutive years to this city with length of stay of about 3 or 4 weeks each year, and I remember booking the hotel on the strip for $35 a night at the excalibur hotel and casino, and in downtown for $20 a night; whereas now researching prices I see that there is a tax do over $40 a night and hotel figures start at over $50 a night.
If there is anyone who lives there in Las vegas can you tell us the reason for these increases?
Also I remember that while playing inside the casino beautiful waitresses would come by offering free drinks, can anyone tell us if this is still the case?
