Nothing too special or worthy of your 'Oooh''s and/or 'Ahh''s, sadly. However, I just wanted to make a quick "I was there" posting instead of just reading a few and leaving, as amusing as that can be. So it was earlier today, a pleasantly overcast Saturday summer late morning when I finally arrived at The Downs. I wasn't there to watch horses sprint for 1 minute in an oval, though. I was there to sit inside an air-conditioned building, press a button, and hopefully hear some cows moo and be taken to another planet...Bovine-ia-....ville. ...Okay, fine! ...It's called Moolah. Ah, but of course it is! It's hard for me to find a slot I really actually enjoy playing, but those Invaders, man... So today, I put down about $80, maybe a bit more, but less than $100, I know that much. For the most part I played Return to...Moolah, Return to Crystal Forest, Exotic Treasures, and I played a $14 and some change cash out ticket on this old IGT Elvira game. So,...yah, overall I lost, walked out with like enough to get me a new pack of smokes, food...'bout it. On Moolah, I hit the bonus game I think four times. The spins were, I believe,...7, 14, 10, and 10. Each one wasn't horrible, nor great, but it kept me in the game for a bit longer. The place was lightly populated. Granted it was only between 1pm - 2:30pm. Alright, well....I've found myself at a loss as to what else to inform you of, so I'm gonna call it here and go see what looks tasty enough to unfreeze.
