So this weekend, I got a private invitation to a VIP Host Challenge.
What this involved was a VIP receptions on Friday night, consisting of drinks, appetizers, and music.
Then on Saturday, we played Bingo, Slots, Blackjack, Skee Ball, and Pop a Shot.
Top prizes for winners in Blackjack and Slots was
$1,000 for first
$700 for second
$500 for third
Then also we were divided into 8 teams. The top 3 teams got prizes based on the overall scores.
Top prizes were
$1,500 Mystic Cash
$700 Mystic Cash
$400 Mystic Cash
Those prizes were awarded to each player on the top 3 winning teams.
It was a rather fun weekend to be honest. I enjoyed myself, I also reminded myself why I don't play skee ball very often. I like to hit the ball on the bottom of the ramp frequently. Causing frequent roll backs and all.
Yet I thought I did fairly well in Blackjack and Bingo. I didn't place in Blackjack, but to turn $500 into $2,750 worth of tournament chips in 15 hands was pretty neat. Then I also got 3 bingos.
Then on Saturday night they offered up NY Strip Steak dinner, with mashed potatoes, carrots, green beans, salad, and chocolate mousse cake.
First VIP event I have actually gone to up there, and to say the least it was a fun time. Didn't win any of the prizes, but I had a blast.
Has anyone else been invited to an event similar to this?
