This is exactly how I feel this time of year! Geesh, the stores didn't even wait til Halloween was over before bringing out the Christmas stuff.....

Why wait for January... just think about it... Easter bunnies could be so helpful with all the extra cooking on Thanksgiving and eggs, yeah eggs for the deviled eggs! Then come Christmas there is reindeer grooming, all those antlers to polish, help Santa with some of those packages... after all they are experts in wrapping things in colorful packages... yeah, why wait?

Perché aspettare gennaio... pensaci... i coniglietti pasquali potrebbero essere così utili con tutta la cucina extra del Ringraziamento e le uova, sì, le uova per le uova alla diavola! Poi arriva Natale, c'è la strigliatura delle renne, tutte quelle corna da lucidare, aiuta Babbo Natale con alcuni di quei pacchetti... dopo tutto sono esperti nell'impacchettare le cose in pacchetti colorati... sì, perché aspettare?

Where i work, on Oct 31st..they were taking down the scarey halloween stuff like vampire costumes, scarey face make-ups, spidars and webs, pumpkin carving kits, and then putting up christmas, candy canes, cards, popcorn tins, christmas tree decorations, angels and cherubs..stocking stuffers.. what a transformation, yesterday halloween, today christmas...
i remember once when i was little my mom and dad made a boo boo easter, they gave us our baskets of candy, dressed us in our easter clothes and sent us to church.. we came home all mad and through our embarrassment told our parents easter is NEXT sunday..through their embarrassment said.. blame it on the stores and the easter rush.. everyones in a hurry nowadays..Dove lavoro, il 31 ottobre... stavano rimuovendo le cose spaventose di Halloween come costumi da vampiro, trucchi per il viso spaventosi, spidar e ragnatele, kit per intagliare zucche, e poi mettendo su decorazioni natalizie, bastoncini di zucchero, cartoline, scatole di popcorn, decorazioni natalizie decorazioni per l'albero, angeli e putti... imbottiture per calze.. che trasformazione, ieri halloween, oggi natale...
Ricordo che una volta, quando ero piccolo, mia mamma e mio papà hanno fatto una Pasqua bubu, ci hanno dato i nostri cestini di caramelle, ci hanno vestito con i nostri abiti pasquali e ci hanno mandato in chiesa... siamo tornati a casa tutti matti e attraverso il nostro imbarazzo lo abbiamo detto ai nostri genitori Pasqua è domenica PROSSIMA.. con il loro imbarazzo hanno detto.. tutta la colpa è dei negozi e della fretta di Pasqua.. tutti hanno fretta al giorno d'oggi.. -

Lavoravo per il cioccolato della Nestlé e preparavamo caramelle natalizie in estate, quindi di solito circa 6 mesi prima di qualunque festività si avvicinasse. Katt, ADORO la tua risposta... sei troppo divertente e mi hai rallegrato la giornata!!
