Ahhh, Sunday!! The day of rest. Sleeping in, a pot of coffee, (several actually) the Sunday paper, and a big breakfast. Lets not forget reading all the new posts here on LCB. Attending church perhaps?! Spending time with family.
I rose late this morning at 9:30am, grabbed my coffee, and headed for LCB . I plan on reading the paper, and drinking gallons of coffee. I will enjoy a nice big breakfast shortly of pancakes, and will likely want to go back to bed after that.

I enjoy taking naps on a Sunday afternoon too. I usually watch Nascar and around our house we call it Nascar-Nap day. hahaha, as we all fall asleep during the race. With no race on today I feel I have no choice but to take a nap.
Anche a me piace fare dei sonnellini la domenica pomeriggio. Di solito guardo la Nascar e a casa nostra lo chiamiamo giorno Nascar-Nap. ahahah, perché ci addormentiamo tutti durante la gara. Senza gara oggi sento di non avere altra scelta che fare un pisolino.

Not only Sunday.. We have Easter Sunday here and of course a very nice Monday with no work!!!!
Non solo domenica.. Qui abbiamo la domenica di Pasqua e ovviamente un bellissimo lunedì senza lavoro!!!!

I wish I could have had my typical Sunday Morning, but my friends and I decided we would go to the River, DRINK and Bar-B-Q!!! So the morning was hurry, wakr up, go buy some beer and meat. Get to the River so we can have a nice spot to Bar-B-Q. What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday!!
Of course now it's Monday I am sunburnt and hung over!!!

I still had fun.Avrei voluto poter trascorrere la mia tipica domenica mattina, ma io e i miei amici abbiamo deciso che saremmo andati al fiume, a bere e al bar-barbecue!!! Quindi la mattina era di fretta, svegliarsi, andare a comprare della birra e della carne. Raggiungi il fiume, così potremo avere un bel posticino al Bar-BQ. Che modo meraviglioso di trascorrere una domenica!!

on, a usual sunday, i hope i have had lots of fine dining and fine drinking the day before. sleeping in late, go up for a espresso and a cig, lay down in the couch and watch a movie i dont have to use all of my brain to watch. go up and check my comp, make a late breakfast/brunch and maby another movie (movie junkie) and treating myself... since its pitty me beeing hangover with something nice and greasy hangover dinner at night

domenica, come al solito, spero di aver mangiato bene e bevuto molto bene il giorno prima. dormire fino a tardi, salire a prendere un espresso e una sigaretta, sdraiarmi sul divano e guardare un film per cui non devo usare tutto il cervello. vado su e controllo il mio computer, preparo una colazione/brunch tardi e magari un altro film (drogato di film) e mi concedo qualcosa... visto che è un peccato che io abbia i postumi di una sbornia con qualcosa di carino e unto per la cena post-sbornia di notte

Tomorrow night is CAsino night for me.....YESSSSSSUn'altra domenica mattina. Eccomi con LCB. Ho il caffè in mano e una lunga lista di post da leggere. Adoro questa parte della mia giornata. LCB crea dipendenza. La gara Nascar per me è più tardi oggi e potrei semplicemente scommettere su chi vincerà.

Sunday...its a rainy, lazy, hazy day! To sum it up, I'll make my nice Sunday dinner. This is the only day of the week i set the dining room table. I love dishes of all kinds. This i my weakness. I have 9 sets of dishes (not including holiday dishes) which i really have NO more room for another set..and platters...well i won't even mention how many platters!
I will spend an hour decorating the table. I always buy fresh flowers and find different ways to place them on the table. Lots of candles and depending on the season i try to find unique ways to use them. Since it is spring time, i think today i will use my little terracotta mini pots and put a candle in each at every place setting.
Today i will make baked mostaccioli, salad and garlic bread. Have a nice bottle of Pinot Grigio to sip with dinner. No red wine....i am allergic to that!
For dessert i will have Italian cookies with expresso.
If anyone wants to stop by....I'll leave a place setting waitin for ya!
LipstickDomenica... è una giornata piovosa, pigra e nebbiosa! Per riassumere, preparerò la mia bella cena domenicale. Questo è l'unico giorno della settimana in cui apparecchio la tavola della sala da pranzo. Adoro i piatti di tutti i tipi. Questa è la mia debolezza. Ho 9 set di piatti (esclusi i piatti festivi) che in realtà NON ho più spazio per un altro set... e vassoi... beh, non dirò nemmeno quanti vassoi!
Trascorrerò un'ora a decorare la tavola. Compro sempre fiori freschi e trovo diversi modi per posizionarli sulla tavola. Molte candele e, a seconda della stagione, cerco di trovare modi unici per usarle. Dato che è primavera, penso che oggi userò i miei mini vasetti di terracotta e metterò una candela in ognuno di essi in ogni tavola.
Oggi preparerò mostaccioli al forno, insalata e pane all'aglio. Bevi una bella bottiglia di Pinot Grigio da sorseggiare a cena. Niente vino rosso.... sono allergico a quello!
Per dessert avrò biscotti italiani con espresso.
Se qualcuno vuole passare....lascio un posto ad aspettarvi!
