My son went to the beach with a friend yesterday and met a girl.
He invited her to the movie today and she agreed.
My son showered and doused himself with Axe cologne. She texted him she was 'getting ready'.

I think the girl he has liked for 3 years has fallen by the wayside. One plus.. he is comfortable telling me all about it, even lets me read the texts.

Yes gabby it is a very good thing when they are comfortable telling mom what is going on with them... my son was always comfortable doing that and it made communication work a lot better, although there were times I had to maintain my outward composure...
