I'd go with Mayweather, but he's pushing 40 and has been in retirement for a while prior to this fight. I honestly don't see much sense in putting these two in the ring, other than for media hype and money of course.

First I have to say that I feel like boxing today is going in the direction of American wrestling or something like that, which is somewhat saddening because I used to love it a lot and watch it regularly as teenager. Aside from that, I would probably bet on Mayweather, I don't think he would risk his great 49-0 record if he didn't feel like he has a strong chances of winning, and although retired and quite accomplished, getting to 50-0 is probably the only thing left for him now.
Per prima cosa devo dire che sento che la boxe oggi sta andando nella direzione del wrestling americano o qualcosa del genere, il che è un po' triste perché la amavo molto e la guardavo regolarmente da adolescente. A parte questo, probabilmente scommetterei su Mayweather, non penso che rischierebbe il suo fantastico record di 49-0 se non si sentisse come se avesse forti possibilità di vincere, e anche se in pensione e abbastanza esperto, arrivando a 50 -0 è probabilmente l'unica cosa che gli resta adesso.

I'm a big UFC and Cagefighting fan, and really respect McGregor's skills, but i just don't think he can beat Floyd in a straight up fistfight! Too limiting for him, the guy needs his knees, elbows and kicks!

I mean, it was real while it was a Catch wrestling show. There were times when Mayweather just did not want to knock McGregor, did not develop his attack with a second or third stroke. It annoys me!
