With July 4th just around the corner....comes the sparkle and bang that lights up the nite sky. I love to watch the fireworks on the 4th! Here in Illinois fireworks are limited. My state has banned most of them. Available are sparklers, smoke bombs and snakes.
Most people will travel to Indiana to get fireworks where it is legal and bring them back. It's amazing that although its illegal everyone and their cousin has fireworks on this day. In our neighborhood we are known particulary on our block for HUGE firework displays. The local police will drive by...kinda pretend they are mad..and roll right by.
The only thing i really dislike about the fireworks is how scared my dogs get....im talking petrified. It is one of the reason i stay home on that day. I dont think they should be banned...its like drinkin and driving ....have a designated driver...in this case a designated igniter!
My plans are to have a big party and have lots of fireworks....food...and of course liquor baby!!!!

Non penso che dovrebbero essere vietati... è come bere e guidare... avere un guidatore designato... in questo caso un accenditore designato!
I miei piani sono di organizzare una grande festa con tanti fuochi d'artificio... cibo... e ovviamente liquori, tesoro!!!!

well our fireworks are friday night so were gonna go sit across from fair grounds to watch them.Then saturday is the parade so we will go watch that and every night drink jack and cokes at home and whoever wants to join us can! LOL! BROB and chairs lol!
14 POSTS TO GO!beh, i nostri fuochi d'artificio saranno venerdì sera, quindi andremo a sederci di fronte alla fiera per guardarli. Poi sabato c'è la sfilata, quindi andremo a guardarla e ogni sera berremo jack e coca cola a casa e chiunque voglia unirsi a noi può! LOL! BROB e sedie lol!

Im thinking of having a bon-fire out in the country with friends. I'm not much of a drinker but do enjoy a few on this holiday. It's Summer, its warm, and I'm with friends.
I enjoy fireworks and I do think they ought to be legal to adults. Here in Michigan you are forced to buy pretty cheesy fireworks from the side of the road or in the local Walmart, and the cost is not worth the little enjoyment you get out of them. Yet, I also know, if you really look, and drop your name in the right places, you can find the "illegal" ones and buy them to enjoy at home.
Here in our town they put on a pretty good fireworks display for anyone who is interested in taking on the more traditional family setting with hotdogs, and pop.
Whatever you all do this holiday, my LCB family, I wish you the very best. Have fun and be safe.

Mi piacciono i fuochi d'artificio e penso che dovrebbero essere legali per gli adulti. Qui nel Michigan sei costretto a comprare fuochi d'artificio piuttosto scadenti dal lato della strada o nel Walmart locale, e il costo non vale il poco divertimento che ne ricavi. Eppure, so anche che, se guardi davvero, e scrivi il tuo nome nei posti giusti, puoi trovare quelli "illegali" e comprarli per goderteli a casa.
Qui nella nostra città hanno organizzato uno spettacolo pirotecnico piuttosto bello per chiunque sia interessato ad affrontare l'ambiente familiare più tradizionale con hot dog e pop.

I have a garage refrig. full of contraband fireworks from South Carolina.....setting them off on Saturday. The kids love 'em. Just use your head and they are safe.
Ho un frigorifero in garage. pieno di fuochi d'artificio di contrabbando dalla Carolina del Sud... che li hanno fatti esplodere sabato. I bambini li adorano. Basta usare la testa e saranno al sicuro.

Sounds like a nice time PMM...I remember when fireworks were so easy to get, we got a list from the guy at work, he had EVERYTHING!! And it was great...I remember my dad throwing barrel bombs off the front stairs..man those were LOUD..loved it, now we are lucky to get firecrackers.

Sembra un bel momento PMM... Ricordo che quando i fuochi d'artificio erano così facili da ottenere, ricevevamo una lista dal ragazzo al lavoro, aveva TUTTO!! Ed è stato fantastico... ricordo che mio padre lanciava barili bomba dalle scale anteriori... cavolo, erano RUMORI... mi piaceva tantissimo, ora siamo fortunati ad avere i petardi.
