An architecture firm from France designed six incredible 'farmscrapers'. The buildings would combine several eco-systems with office units and residential area.
They should be built in the Chinese city of Shenzhen and each skyscraper would be 396 metres tall and have 111 floors. Suspended gardens would be stationed on the exterior. Wind turbines and solar cells would be placed on each of the farmscrapers, providing renewable energy. The project, named Asian Cairns, also includes a system which will recycle the waste water generated by the vertical farms.
It is hoped the six 'farmscrapers' will combat the growing population and increased urban development in Shenzhen, as well as cut C02 emissions.
I think that these buildings look amazing and I love what new technologies can do for us and our planet.

I'm sure it's safe... I doubt they would have all permits to build them otherwise. I just love futuristic architecture (modernism as well

I agree it is highly probable that they are safe and they seem to be "hooked" over the central tower however they do look as though they are going to slide off. I see two people in the "tower" in the 2nd pic (right hand side). Must be an amazing view from there.

The Greenland Group Suzhou Center is designed to address poor air quality in Wujiang, China, incorporating a 30-storey tall operable window in the tower’s atrium, which invites cool air flow during summer months from the seasonal prevailing winds, and floods the interior spaces with natural light.
The “lung” of the building is designed to facilitate mixed mode ventilation in the lobbies and public spaces, providing a fresh air supply source. The building is also expected to achieve 60 percent savings in energy consumption compared to a conventional high rise.
