I'm a weird one... love having an annual garage sale. Have my neighbors give me all their stuff to sell for them. I have put off mine since I have a hurt leg but in spite of it, couldn't put it off any longer.
Last Tuesday decided Thursday was the day (biggest day here) and gathered, marked, set up tables and put everything in my garage. I have 15 tables FULL plus tons of stuff to go down the driveway.
Thursday came. Thunderstorms. >:(
Friday came.... Got up at 5am, got ready, ran all the bigger stuff (alot) up and down the driveway. I was sweating and thinking... why did I shower? Got it all done and BOOM.... thunderstorm. >:(
Ran everything back in the garage and decided to wait until this Thur. Friday.
Our temps are over 100 with a heat index over 115. It's humid beyond belief.
*sigh*

Le nostre temperature sono superiori a 100 con un indice di calore superiore a 115. È umido oltre ogni immaginazione.

Lets hope the storms blow over and you can get that sale going. You need one of those misting fans while you are sitting outside to keep you cool!

I miss garage and yard sales. I haven't seen any here in the UK this summer. I wonder if that's done here at all.
Mi mancano le vendite in garage e in piazzale. Non ne ho visto nessuno qui nel Regno Unito quest'estate. Mi chiedo se questo venga fatto anche qui.

I always liked holding G-sales. Meet so many people who think that by coming early they get better deals or something that's worth big bucks and buy it cheap.
I knew some people who would "Sort of" take a fake, and do a few things and buyers would flock onto it and pay their price only to find they got burned later..Ahhhh...GREED, what a funny nasty sin!
Mi è sempre piaciuto organizzare le vendite G. Incontra così tante persone che pensano che arrivando presto otterranno affari migliori o qualcosa che valga un sacco di soldi e lo compreranno a buon mercato.
Conoscevo alcune persone che "in un certo senso" prendevano un falso e facevano alcune cose e gli acquirenti si riversavano su di esso e pagavano il loro prezzo solo per scoprire in seguito che si bruciavano... Ahhhh... AVAGITÀ, che peccato divertente e disgustoso! -

I have a few things left to mark but it's 118 heat index outside.
O......M......G....... I love hot, but come on... this is they type of humid where you take a step outside and can't breathe. I walked to the mailbox and my hands were wet. Actually they were wet when I took my first step.
Tomorrow is to be a bit cooler. In the 90's..... which is garage sale perfect.

O......M......G....... Adoro il caldo, ma andiamo... questo è quel tipo di umido in cui fai un passo fuori e non riesci a respirare. Sono andato alla cassetta della posta e avevo le mani bagnate. In realtà erano bagnati quando ho fatto il primo passo.
Domani sarà un po' più fresco. Negli anni '90... il che è perfetto per la vendita di garage.
Grazie ragazzi... Spero di ricevere tonnellate di giunchi. -
