I would say steady small wins are what you want when working down a bonus wagering and any slot that is low volatility and can keep your balance steady for a prolonged time is very good.
Outside of bonus wagering, you want high volatility and big wins :)
I am personally not a high roller and will mostly bet anywhere from minimum to say, few bucks per spin, depending on the deposit size.. I'm also not really a fan of games where most of the winning potential is in features. I like base game to have some potential as well, like they did in most of the old slots.
Now, a good session would probably look like: deposit 100-200 bucks, play for an hour or more and end up with 500. That is what I would consider pretty good, and if I get that 500 or so I almost always withdraw.

I totally agree! Low volatility slots are great for keeping balance steady during bonus wagering, while high volatility is where the big wins come in. I’m also with you on preferring base game potential features are fun, but I like when the regular spins can deliver too. A good session for me would be similar depositing a bit, playing for a while, and cashing out with a solid win.
