I was playing a Blackjack tourney at Genesys Club.
How are these actual hands fair at all?
I was dealt a face card and ace... black jack.
Dealer turned 4 cards and came up with 21
PUSH
Dealer was dealt an ace and turned a face card ....black jack.
My cards were taken without a chance to hit.
See above.
LOST
Dealer was dealt a face card.
I was dealt a 5 and 6. I decided, wth, and doubled down.
I was dealt a face card.. whoo-hooo...21
Dealer turned and ace... for a BJ.
House took ALL my money.
Wouldn't that be a push?
Why did they allow me to hit or double down if I had NO chance of winning?
If that is not an obvious house advantage, I don't know what is.
Qualcuno può spiegare queste regole?!?

that is weird. The same rules for BJ should apply both to your and dealers hands.
Also if you hit the BJ you should always win, unless the dealer is showing BJ as well, and then its a push.
What version of BJ did you play?questo è strano. Le stesse regole per il BJ dovrebbero applicarsi sia alle tue mani che a quelle del dealer.
Inoltre, se ottieni il BJ dovresti sempre vincere, a meno che anche il banco non mostri BJ, e quindi è una spinta.

I don't get how there can be a push on BJ against a dealer 21. That surely cannot be right.

I wish I had taken screen shots.
I can't remember if I was playing "Vegas Strip" or "Atlantic City"..it was one of those and even though it was a tourney, it ticked me off.Vorrei aver scattato delle schermate.
Non ricordo se stavo giocando a "Vegas Strip" o "Atlantic City".. era uno di quelli e anche se era un torneo, mi ha fatto arrabbiare. -
