Registration
On February 22, 2022, our tester registered at Lapilanders Casino. She went through the 3-step procedure during which she entered a couple of basic information and verified her e-mail address.
A detail player should be aware of is that a field for bonus code appears during the second step. Our tester opted to leave it empty. Following the completion of the second stage, a 4-digit verification code was provided to her via e-mail. As soon as she typed it in, the tester became a member of this Malta-licensed online casino.
Deposit
Having finalized the sign-up process, the tester headed to the cashier to fund the account on the same day, February 22, 2022. A couple of predetermined amounts were presented to her, of which she selected USD 200.
While in the cashier, players should pay attention to bonuses, as the option to claim a bonus is automatically ticked. As the tester didn’t want to have any bonus attached to her account, she unticked it and proceeded.
She selected Skrill to make a USD 200 deposit. Upon confirming the transaction on the Skrill page and entering the verification mail she received in an e-mail, she had the deposit completed. The money was visible on her casino balance a second later.
To fund the account, players can choose between VISA, Trustly, Skrill, Rapid Transfer, Paysafe Card, Neteller, Neosurf, MuchBetter, Mastercard Debit, Mastercard Credit, Klarna, Jeton, Interac, Euteller, ecoPayz, Brite, Boleto Bancario, and Direct Bank Transfer. The minimum amount ranges from EUR 15 to EUR 20, depending on the method selected.
KYC Procedure
The next in line was to go through the ID verification process, which was accommodated in the “Account” section. To complete the ID verification process, the tester uploaded the front page of her ID card and a phone bill. As far as the information on the page stated, once the documents are uploaded, it takes 72 hours to verify them.
Having played a couple of games, the tester decided to upload one more document- proof of payment. It was a confirmation of a deposit made via Skrill.
The next day, February 23, 2022, the tester received an e-mail from the casino support team, which asked her to upload a screenshot of her Skrill wallet with all account details visible.
As the tester already submitted the requested document the day before, she responded to the mail noting that the URL, account holder details, and payment details are all visible on the said document.
The response arrived the same day, describing precisely what the required document should contain. As explained, a phone number and e-mail address should be visible as well, all of which are displayed on the left side of the account.
A day later, on February 24, 2022, the tester submitted the required document with all the details visible. The support department responded the same day confirming that they received the documents.
However, when attempting to withdraw on February 28, 2022, the tester was notified that her account was still unverified. That’s why she reached out to the support department via e-mail.
The response came in on the same day, informing the tester that documents were checked. It also stated that the operator has the right to request further documents to comply with AML and KYC requirements.
So, the tester asked which documents she needed to submit, but no response arrived. On March 1, 2022, an e-mail arrived informing the tester that her documents were approved and the account verified. It also indicated that additional verification MAY be required. As it turned out, she wasn’t required to submit any additional docs.
Gameplay
Having provided the necessary documents for KYC, the tester headed to the lobby The first game she played was Take Olympus by BetSoft followed by Monster Pop and Rabbit in the Hat.
After this, she ventured into Dragon Lines Super and Roaming Reels Raging Roosters, where she landed a win of USD 88. Her next choice was Moon Dancer, Nuilang and Zhinu, and then checked out Congo King, South of the Border, and Golden Ox.
Having finished playing this game, the tester returned to Roaming Reels Raging Roosters and then launched Power of Gods Hades by Wazdan.
Withdrawal
The tester’s first attempt to withdraw took place on February 28, 2022. She wanted to withdraw USD 50 via Skrill, the same method she used to fund the account. Unfortunately, she was unable to do so because her account was not fully verified.
As it turned out, her account was validated the next day, so she made a new request to withdraw on March 2, 2022. She wanted to cash out USD 50 via Skrill.
Two days later, on March 4, 2022, an e-mail from the casino and the confirmation from Skrill arrived, informing the tester that the request was approved and transferred to her Skrill balance.
The maximum net winnings in any 24-hour period are limited to EUR 5,000 per account, that is, EUR 50,000 per month. However, the max limit for withdrawal is EUR 7,000 per month, but exceptions can be made for customers with a higher loyalty ranking.
If a customer wins more than EUR 30,000, the casino reserves the right to divide the payout into monthly installments until the full amount is paid out.
Available withdrawal methods include VISA credit, Skrill, Rapid Transfers, Neteller, Neosurf, Mastercard Debit, ecoPayz, Brite, and Direct Bank Transfer.
Conclusion
Even though the stated timeframe for document validation is 72 hours, it took a bit longer for Lapilanders casino to complete the process. As the timeframe is expressed in hours only, it remains unclear whether 72 hours encompass business days only or weekends are included as well.
As soon as the documents were verified, the tester received the requested amount with no delays and within the indicated timeframe. She wasn’t charged any fees.
