Anyone who is using uPay in the USA, (you cant directly deposit into casinos like you can in other countries, but you can swap usd for btc) just note that when you add money to your account it takes a couple hours to be approved as of a couple days ago. Support says they are using a new processor. I am not sure if it has to do with the us and credit companies or not, but just so you know its not instant right now. Money will say restricted for an hour then released.

Okay, maybe I'm missing something and someone can clear it up? I got a UPay account over a year or two ago, still haven't used it. I must have misunderstood at the time because I thought that physical debit cards were going to be available for Americans like the old Neteller days. Anyways, sufficeth to say, that didn't happen. So what exactly is the advantage for US players over existing wallets?

Ok, so no we cant have cards in US from upay, they were supposed to at one time but i think visa backed out. Matter of fact, i dont think us has any btc card that i know of.
But, you can use paypal, credit, mastercard to add funds and covert to bitcoin. The only advantage is that you can buy btc, and now ethereum and litecoin, for pretty low fees and at any amount. Coinbase and other exchanges have minimums, but i guess if you just want to throw a 20 in the casino, you could buy only that amount. I wouldn't use it as a wallet now that fees are back to ultra cheap, but it would be safe to do so. i usually transfer cash to btc or eth on upay and send to blockchain wallet if i need some coin. Some people can't (or don't want to) get verified from coinbase, also for some time it was backed up.

Also they are supporting ethereum and litecoin now.
