Well today is Friday the 13th and there are loads of superstitions surrounding Friday the 13th which are a combination of two separate fears:

It is unlucky to cut fingernails and hair on a Friday.
In Britain, Friday was the conventional day for public hangings, and there were supposedly 13 steps leading up to the noose!

It makes me a little nervous I must admit. My future mother in law has been with her bf for a year as of today. It's all she has talked about.
She tends to repeat things incessantly so I'm sure I'll relive this day for the next 6 months
